If I post a post...one minute later someone replies with a quote of my post...then right after that I edit my post...will my edits show up in the person's post who replied to me?
(no this is not a riddle)

Well let's try this out. This is random filler stuff to see if it changes.

Well let's try this out. But be warned people can changed what's inside the quote bubble

Do you see what I just did there?

No Sir. If someone quotes a post you installed in the forums and posts his/her reply --before you can edit/while you are still editing-- your post, then the original words of your installed post will still remain.

example

Crossnote ----> Ugly, you are going to Hell.

*Ugly reads this*

Crossnote ----> I better edit this post before he sees it....

*Crossnote clicks the edit post button*

Ugly ---> *Clicks the quote button on Crossnotes post and replies to it, saying: All right, you showed your immaturity and arrogance. Welcome to my ignore list.

*Crossnote finishes editing his post. The edited version says: Very wise words Ugly*

Crossnote ----> *sees Uglys reply and realizes that the quoted post in Uglys reply still shows the words Crossnote said before he edited it.

Crossnote ----> Uh-oh

My understanding is that once you post, you have about 5 minutes or until someone adds another post to the thread to edit. Once someone adds another post you're locked out of the edit function.
