As many of you know, there have been many non-Christians who want to debate and many who have valid questions who desire an answer to the many questions being posed about being a Christian.

I propose that there should be two separate areas for this. A Q&A area and another area where constructive debates are allowed, for those who like doing apologetics. Obviously many of the same rules should be applied, but there should be a lot more leniency for those debating within the debate forum.

Let me know what you think. Reasons for it or against it.

Thanks!

That might be an idea, it would make it easier for thse with questions to find answers and easier for us to find the questions

Strongly agreed.

Alot of atheists are turning up here. Some of them may seem proud but I think most are genuinely looking for God.

What seems to happen is they get tangled up in threads that aren't appropriate for deep theological discussions, and they end up frustrating people and getting themselves banned.

It seems like every athiest that rocks up here has a lifespan of about 10-14 days before you see BANNED under their name. It would be nice to reach out to these people, in a way that doesn't disturb the bible discussion forum.

We need a separate forum for this - absolutely.

We always talk about how there are too many chat rooms not being used.

The forums are overflowing with threads and I don't think any forum is underutilised.

I hope we can get a new forum specifically designed for discussions with atheists and people seeking God. I may be mistaken but does this site not have a structured form of evangelism? I think it might be a good idea.
