Hello people! I'm actually new but I saw this thing about giving your testimony and I actually have one! It's not a nice one but it's how God took me back in His arms.
I've been saved since I was 8 years old. I'm 19 now. But when I was 15-16, I walked away from God totally. I didn't want anything to do with Him. I think the cause was the people I was hanging out with. So I started to live my own life and, so to speak, "took things into my own hands."
It all started with jealousy. I was 16 and jealous of my sister cuz she got to go to Six Flags and I didn't. So I decided to go hang out with a "friend." And she had another friend who was male and showed a bad interest in me. I was sexually assaulted that day.
I felt like the prodigal son. I crawled back to God, bruised, tear-stained face, and without innocence. Begging for some king of forgiveness. And He gave it to me.
At the age of 17, I felt His calling to go do mission work in Israel. I haven't done it yet but I'm working on it.
That's at least some of my testimony!
Please pray that I make it to Israel! :)
