I think its about time i give my testimony, after 3 months of searching and praying I'm pretty confident now. Now lets start!

As many others I was born into a christian family, taken to Church every sunday, and never really understood Jesus, the Bible, and God. As I went through public school I made some friends and life was great. This all changed in grade 9, my friends seemed to disapear (not literally) I was being bullied to the left and right. The personality every one saw was a quiet, timid, and docile little scwarny ( I wasnt scwrany i just wore long sleeves all the time so...) kid, and when i was pushed around I'd usally just brush it off. But it got to a point where my inherited anger problems let loose (I had it through out my life, i'm just able to hold it alot better then my dad). You know when you get an adrenilen rush and you can run faster lift more weight sorta thing? imagine getting an uber adrenaline rush and attack some one with such hate, anger, and recklessness. i will simply not expand on that for the sake of known reasons. continuing... half way through the year no grade was above a 30, no friends, and constant suicidal thoughts. Then something happend that changed my life forever, I switched schools. The school i switched to (still in same school) is a 7th day adventist academy, a few reasons how this school changed my life:
1. Youth group-I have only missed it 3 times in the past year
-1 month, there was a youth retreat for the weekend. this retreat was amazing and me eyes were truely opened that weekend
2.teachers-i managed to pass because my teachers care about me.
3. ......I know theres more but im having a brain fart right now so if i remember ill put it in
Even tho i was in a good new environment, i still didnt feel that welcomed by the students. I still longed to have a actual friend i could talk to. eventually i resorted to online chat rooms, chatting with random potie mouthed strangers. then one day i decided to look up christain chat rooms, and eventually ended up here. i have made friends here that i know i can trust personally and it brightens my day.
through out the whole time God was right there beside me helping get to where i am now.

Hi Searchingforsomethinglost and greatkraw,

It's so good to see young people visit these type of Chat Rooms. It is my opinion that today's younger generation is more interested in searching for life's answers in Eminem or Britney Spears lyrics.

I'm glad your journey, although difficult at times, has brought you closer to Christ. He truly is everything...

It's nice to meet you. :)

oh and greatkraw i cant remember wait type of church... its something like... ah jeez im really bad (im not catholic tho)
Sunday church is great and all but it seems on the wensdays youthgroup there is just such a presence there. our youthgroup grew from 50 to almost 200 young people in 3 years. I love worshipping the lord and if i dont seem to do it during the day i usally come on here to. its always awsome seeing people from all over the world glorifying His name. :)

Hi Searching,

If I may make a suggestion, don't stop going to youth group!!! No matter how much you feel like staying home the nights they meet, fight yourself and go any way! Don't miss any meetings!!

Fellowship with people who love Him makes us stronger in our faith and love for Him!!!

:)
