Even when my weary human flesh fails me, even when my mind is restless and distracted, even when my heart feels cold and distant, the Lord has relentlessly pursued me all the same. It is for His purpose that I am here, not my own or anyone else's. He alone is my strength, my shield, and my heart's desire.
I want to be more like Him, and less like me. I need His love...for there is greater love, no other love that is worthy, nothing else that can satisfy. His living water is what my heart desires. Worldly things will grow cold, but His love is eternal.
Let us all be a light for this world, to testify so that, even in the darkness, we can be made whole, we can be made new, and we can live into what He has already planned for us.
