A few months ago, I lost my financial aid and was so stressed about how I was going to be able to go back to school. When I first started community college in 2012, I was lost and honestly did not know what I wanted to do. My grades were terrible. I came back to school last August and did a lot better that semester as well as this past spring semester but it wasn't enough to meet my school's sap requirements so my financial aid was suspended. I honestly did not know how I was going to pay for school and I was on the brink of quitting.

Long story short, I got my financial aid back after lots of praying and faith and my appeal was approved. Now I can start again in the spring. I am continually getting better and I will have my associates degree as a substance abuse counselor once I graduate :)
