He loved me, before I loved him. I was in my 30's, and was drinking a little. I decided to go out to a sand dune, that overlooked the ocean. I had to use the restroom, and decided to walk over by the cliff and do what I needed to do. Not thinking properly, I fell backwards off a 15' embankment, straight down..no slope. I remember I started talking to God, and repenting of my sin..and that he would have mercy on me. All I could see at that time, was that I was either going to die, or be severely injured. When all of a sudden, a branch thumped me in the head! I was surprised, but figured "Okay" I'll grab it. I was able too, but than I felt how small the branch was, and went to think upon my death..thinking "Oh, this is going to snap!" and closed my eyes. To my surprise, I landed perfectly on my feet standing! I dropped to my knees and praised God for his love towards a foolish untrusting person like me! I learned in trusting our Lord that day!
