Just a Note of Praise

There are so may things that I could praise God for. He's always been faithful to me. When I was alone, he was my friend. When I discouraged, he was my encouragement. He has provided for my needs and at times gave me a few of my wants. I never have to question whether or not I can trust in him. I've had people disappoint me and hurt me and at times I've done the same to others. I'm glad that God has never failed me. I'm thankful that he loves me. He's always good even when things are difficult. I praise him for all the things he's brought me through. I thank him for all he's helped me to learn through the years. Most of all I'm thankful for his forgiveness to me. I know that at times I fail to be what he wants me to be, but he's always faithful to pick me up and help me keep going.

God is even faithful when we are faithless

This Christian forum needs more personal testimonies such as this, instead of unending threads that lead to nothing that glorifies JESUS CHRIST. Your words offer hope, show high praise and a spiritual maturity that is so rare these days. You are NOT complaining, you are not whining, you are not expressing silliness. You are demonstrating what it is like standing on the ROCK of your Salvation! You make me and others want to start up a praise bandwagon and wind through blogs, posts, political jargon and mindless chatter as we shout "JESUS CHRIST be PRAISED" When we lift His name up, His blessings come down!

That's so wonderful, To hear that god is by your side. I to feel the same, dark times yet God is always there, giving me the courage to carry on. God's got a sense of humour also, he wants us to laugh at ourselves from time to time. Its a great passion of mine to keep my eyes on god when the going gets tough. Let the light shine bright on the weak, let the love of god protect those that need it. Amen

Honestly I feel that we would be more encouraging to other and ourselves if we would just praise Him for what he's done in our lives. It's easy to look at the things that are wrong in our lives and to complain about them and many times we do that, well, at least I do. I'm tired of "Christians" complaining all the time. Sometimes I feel that we complain more than the world does. We have a faithful, living God who deserves our praise not our complaints. I'm not saying that we don't take our concerns to Him, I'm just saying that He is worthy and deserves to be praised for what He has done in our lives.

I should hang out in this forum more often

I think it so easy to pick up on negative thoughts about others. but god sees the real picture. I think it's important to keep praying, and even if we are wrong, in time things show a different story.
