How God came into my life

Hello my name is Hailee,

I always went to church, but i never truly accepted that there was a God. That he loved me so much to send his only son to die for me. Two years ago I started cutting, I was on drugs, I was doing anything to take my pain away. I was at rock bottom i don't think i could get any lower then what i was. I was to the point of suicide. I was ready to end my life, but something was telling me wait just wait for service, so i waited til Wednesday night and what do you know the youth pastor was talking on self harm. That night everyone asked me what was wrong? when i told them they asked to pray for me and i agreed.I still remember the prayer to this day " Lord, I ask you to be there for Hailee Let her have the power to overcome, let this problem of self hate and scares become a testimony to others". People see my scars all the times and ask about them and i will tell them about how God saved my life. I have brought 2 people so far because they was cutters too, they have stopped cutting because they found Jesus. I can say that i have stop cutting for over 10 months. I am so thankful for God.

I am glad that you found Jesus and now have stopped hurting yourself. Now, God allowed you to be instrumental in bringing in 2 others who were harming themselves to find Jesus as well. God does love you, that's why Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so that we can have eternal life in the presence of God. I believe that you are on the right path now. Keep going to church, start reading the bible and always say your prayers. Welcome to CC.
