What a way to start the morning! I woke up about 6am after having an awful dream. I dreamt my
elderly aunt was in hospital having various tests been wheeled from department to department.
I kept losing track of where she was being taken and was wondering around the hospital looking for
her worrying about her.

Anyway I woke up and started praying my aunt wouldn't get ill again and wouldn't need to go into hospital
(various dreams in the past have come true so I worry now whoever I get these kind of dreams).

Ten minutes later she shouted me down stairs where her bed is, she had slipped out of bed onto the floor!
I rang the ambulance service.

They came out and got her up with an inflatable cushion and gave her a full check up.
Praise God they decided she was ok and didn't need to go to hospital. Praise God for His warnings
and dreams!

Miri,

of course your Aunt will continually need assistance in one form or another because
of her situation--you must stop fretting little one and just accept the circumstances...
Her greatest Blessing is YOU in her life, her knowing that you are always there,
'something that none of us have an assurance of', but she does...GBY...

just rest in Jesus' Peace and the Faith that you have been given...

I don't see myself as a prophet, I think God does show me things so I can act and
pray about them and be prepared.

Another example was one day I was going to work, I saw a telephone engineer working.
He climbed up a ladder against a telegraph pole, got up that then climbed the pole and
started working at the top. He had his back to me so I could not see properly what he
was doing.

I have seen people do this type of work often before, but this time I just thought
"I really hope he doesn't fall" I had barely got to the end of the thought when he fell!
He just dropped like a stone feet first, I didn't even have time to prayer other than say
God he has fallen, as I ran over to him.

One of his legs was bent like one half of a figure of eight and he was thrashing around on the
ground. He had climbing gear wrapped around him and the large Buckles were digging into his back.

I immediately called for an ambulance (no one else was around at the time) and tried to get him to
lie still while trying to unfasten the climbing gear to make him more comfortable.

But even despite the pain, he kept saying to me "don't say I fell off the pole tell them i fell
off the ladder". It was obvious he hadn't fallen off the ladder as it was still leaning against the
pole.

The ambulance crew came they had to just pull his leg straight despite the pain as the
circulation had been cut off - seeing them do that was as bad as seeing the fall.

Anyway later on I found out that at the top of the pole he did not bother to fix himself to the
pole properly, he knew that as well which is why he wanted me to lie. I told the truth to the
ambulance crew as it makes a difference as to their perception and assessment of injuries as to
whether you have fallen 10 feet or 50 feet!

Later he tried to claim compensation for job related injuries, but it was actually his own fault.
I had his solicitors knocking on my door and writing to me but I just told them I did not want
to get involved.

The warning I got about that accident, while very brief, sort of prepared me for action.
I was able to act straight away. Maybe if the man had been more honest I might have
had a chance to pray for him beforehand as well. I've often wondered why no time was
given to pray for him!

I understand what you mean miri, I walk in the realm of a prophet/seer but I don't consider myself that and I don't like to say I am a prophet or seer as I wish to remain humble and not declare such a thing. Besides if I am a prophet of any kind I would rather my fruits speak not myself. Not to mention it doesn't matter to me if I am a prophet or not I am not any one thing for him I am whatever he wants or needs at any given time.

I have found that like you have experienced God shows or speaks things to us to prepare to build to edify or to reveal,we don't always know why he does and sometimes we don't even realize that we have seen or experienced was prophetic until we see the effects of what was done. I know a few others here in cc who I recognize as a prophet and they all bear the same fruits their words give life and encourage and edify they inspire others who read their words and in doing so bring others closer to God.
Having the gift of prophecy isn't always what makes one a prophet in fact many times simply the gift of prophecy isn't enough to be one, the job of a prophet it to edify encourage build uplift and to help heal the inner wounds and scars of peoples hearts a prophet is one who makes that spark who ignites that flame who simply by speaking their hearts show the very heart of God himself they are the ones who God uses to help his children develop a much deeper love and bond with him.

For the longest time I had been told by many that I am a powerful prophet of God but I continued to reject the idea not feeling worthy to be called such a thing yet all the while without knowing it God was leading me teaching me and using me in the realm of both a seer and a prophet and I had no idea. I speak and follow my heart it's the only way I know to be in him and because of this even when I had no idea he used that quality of me to teach me guide me and to use me in that realm.

I could care less if I am called a prophet a teacher a servant a caregiver or anything else I could care less what denomination people place me in their minds or call me I am that I am. In the same way I believe this is how you are I believe that simply by following your heart God is molding you guiding you and teaching you to walk in that realm and I think like me you could care less if your a prophet a teacher a servant or anything else I feel that like me you have the heart of the willing the heart that says to father whatever it is you need whatever it is you want at any given point even if it's not in my initial gifting simply ask and you shall receive.

Hi miri and blain, I read you stories with interest. I knew that my partner rod was going to be poorly and really was scared. I knew he was going to have a stroke. I see a dream that it affected his mental state, and its all happened for real. Its tough but I know God helps me.

such dreams are not given for no reason, I don't know if he will end up on the brink of the end or not but I do know this nothing is set in stone free will can change the destiny of a person, perhaps God intends to use you in this situation.
As long as you keep your hearts eyes set upon father he will use you for amazing things

Hi blain. Not sure with Rods health. But I know he get sweats and tummy issues and brain issues. But I try hard to keep focused its hard, very hard to not worry. I have a different outlook and can be very shy. Rod is more to the point. But I see sometimes how stubborn he is. I keep praying for a better move away from here. Thanks Blain.

Yeah it's right that we are shown things for a reason, sometimes to pray
to change the outcome (look at Abraham and Lot, that was Abraham praying),
Sometimes to prepare us for what lies ahead.

God doesn't always take us out of situations but He wants us to know that He
will take us through them. Along the way we change and grow and if we deal with
things under the guiding hand of God, then we come out of them stronger.

The problems arise if we try to do things under our own steam and in our own
wisdom. I've been there and done that and it doesn't work. We have to just turn it
all over to God, trust that He will bring us through and ask for wisdom to
know when to act (God doesn't always want us to lay back and do nothing) but
to also know when we are getting in the way of God's plans and need to take
a step back and let Him work on our behalf.

Many times I have come to an end of myself and said God you will have to deal with
this because I just can't do it any more. The answers to those sort of prayers have
been immediate! Although I haven't always realised it for a few days.

A couple of years back we really needed help at home I just couldn't do it all working
and trying to take care of my aunt with no help. Between the two I was putting in at
least 15 hour days each day.

I arranged for some privately paid Carer's to come in on my working days, until
we could get an assessment by social services (which took up to 12 weeks).

But after a couple of weeks my aunt was starting to refuse the help, I kept saying that
I couldn't do it all it was making me ill. After one particular awful morning I was almost in
tears as I went to work and I could not concentrate all day. After work I usually get the
bus home, but I walked home as I was still so upset. I walked 3 miles praying practically
begging God to intercede.

Well I arrived home in dread and opened the door waiting for my aunt to start complaining
about the Carer's coming again. You know what as soon as I walked in the house the
first words she said was that she had thought about it that morning and had decided to accept
the Carer's after all.

I didn't know whether to laugh cry or faint! Then it hit me that God had already worked it
all out. There was no need for me to have walked home upset in the first place, my prayers
had already been answered and God knew our needs before I even started praying.

Thats the key God already knows our needs, but He waits for us to be honest about things.
Sometimes even we don't know our needs and we pray for the wrong thing or in a half
hearted unbelieving way. I suspect also that a lot of people ask for prayer, not because they
want answers but because they just want to tell other people about themselves. I see a lot
of that in church, people asking for prayer but really they just want a little attention from
people instead of God.

I think also that God waits patiently for us to really communicate with Him and trust Him.

Its a good habit to get into to pray all the time as you go about your daily life even when
you are on your own, not just at church or prayer meetings. Then it really is just you and
God.

Best thing in prayer is be honest, be yourself, expect God to answer (often we don't it is just
a half hearted attempt), chat to God during the day but don't forget to listen for His answers
(that's another thing we don't think God answers but often it's that we are not listening).
Heed His warnings when they come etc and if time ask God for help preparing for things to
come to know how to deal with them.

God Bless

Yes miri. Thanks. It seems its a cry between Us and God. I understand. One night I cried and the outside light came on, I was in darkness in the hallway. And I asked God for a sign. The light came on, I was so praying out loud. I understand you miri. God bless you.

Had more dreams on Sunday night/Monday morning.

I dreamt I got a call on my mobile phone about my aunt that she wasn't well.
Then I had a second dream about her not being well, but the second dream was a bit
vague. Anyway then I woke up I prayed for a short while that my aunt wouldn't get
sick again.

Then I got up and went to see my aunt. She immediately asked me to phone for the
doctor saying her back and chest hurt and so did her stomach. She looked pale and shakey
too. It's rare she will ask for a doctor unless she really is unwell, she always leaves things to
the last minute by which time she is really unwell and usually ends up in hospital!

We have to be careful as she has COPD so any colds can lead to chest infections and create
problems very quickly.

Anyway i called for the doctor to do a home visit. He came out an hour or so later.
Guess what, by the time he came out all her pain had completely gone.
She couldn't believe it, she said she had been in such pain and struggling to breathe
properly most of the night but she didn't like to wake me up.

The doctor checked her over and said everything was within the normal range for her.
She looked ok as well by the time he arrived.

I told her God and me have this thingy going on. :)

That's kewl that England has portable x-ray equipment to transport to a person house to take x-rays, as well as lab equipment to perform specific testings such as blood loss from internal injuries which can result from injuries such as a ruptured spleen or liver which can result in their bleeding out over time if not treated. Heck a broken bone can result in death if not properly set.

But I am sure God will tell you before that happens...

Unintentional Death from Bed Falls

#18: Fall involving bed, chair or other furniture
Odds of dying: 1 in 4,238
Beds, couches and furniture exist in our homes to provide personal comfort and relaxation, but they are associated with death far more often than most would think. Falls are the leading cause of death among people over the age of 65. A person is far more likely to die falling out of bed, a chair or other furniture at home than traveling on a railway, where the odds are 1 in 225,879.
http://www.medhelp.org/general-health/articles/The-25-Most-Common-Causes-of-Death/193

But tough luck to that telephone employee on his workmen compensation claim especially if a person is only insured if they are perfect in their work and don't make a mistake which ends up leading to their injury.

Zmouth,

here in the usofa, most, if not all veternarians have that same equipment to bring to a person's
barn if their horse has certain needs...it is heartbreaking to know that supposedly real doctors
won't bring this simple equipment to ones home and treat them there... and I have seen it many times,
the equipment is 'small' and could be easily brought into a person's home in order to bring them
quick relief, but instead, our world now insists that they be 'transported' and brought to a hospital...
in order for them to receive any treatment whatsoever...$$$$$$$

Hi Z I was a bit confused by your post.

When our local doctors (GP) comes out, they don't have chest X-ray machines.
They have the basics stethoscope, oxygen sat readers, blood pressure cuff,
thetmometre, strips to test for water infections etc. The have a prescription pad
Our local doctor came on the second visit.

The first visit when she slipped out of bed and the ambulance came, they had
all the extra stuff electro cardio graph readers, heart tracers, oxygen,
canulas lots of sharp pointy things, drugs, resus equipment, basically everything you would
need in an emergency to keep someone alive and monitor them.
If a person can be treated at home and doesn't need to go to hospital then
both the local doctors and ambulance service will make that decision and
treat you at home.

I thought the US was the same?

Zmouth,

and I have seen it many times,
I can appreciate your response but at the same time we have to consider the practicality of having a doctor come to us versus our going to the doctor. Considering the lost time which a Doctor would incur by treating patients at home it would be impractical as well as unfair to others who could benefit from that time unnecessarily expended to provide such service.

However, I take it you are referring unto medical emergency such as 911 events since I didn't even know that doctors even make house calls anymore except save for the rich or famous. But even then, do physicians even ride with the paramedics on 911 calls? I didn't think they did but then again I can only speak to what I have seen around my area.

It would seem to me that in any situation where the person could be reasonably treated at home then they could reasonable transport themselves for treatment. I will explain my comments more indepth in my post to Miri.
