Long over due Facebook status. What should I cut out, what should I add, what should I change? Honest thoughts.
Those of you who have known me since I was younger might remember what a fervent atheist I was. I had come to the conclusion early on that all religions were fundamentally the same, and specifically that the Christian faith was based upon myths and legends purposefully aimed at the human condition in order for a controlling elite to subjectate the masses. It had seemed I was born into this dystopia by chance, and the only hope of this reality was that the plague of religion would be wiped from the slate as its fanatical remnant slowly vanished in the midst of technological advancement and philosophical pursuits. A presumptuous association between the institution of religion and the Bible had rooted itself in the center of my loosely gathered worldview. Though dismal, the ever growing realization of the matrix I was living in never bred indifference in me; I began independently investigating the nature of reality, the systems in play, and the players- the same families and royalties who have systematically monopolized and exploited nearly all of government and industry on planet earth. I conducted this research through what is best described as the alternative media. The alternative media is the network of billions of interconnected sources outside of the mainstream media. Within its vast and disorienting depths are some of the only platforms available where the brilliant minds of scholars, researchers, and journalists who have been exiled from academic circles can have their voices heard and their work vindicated. Entire histories made up of the plots of men most will never hear of. As a side note, the dependency and unfounded trust of those around me in the mainstream media and academia is both baffling and disheartening. Simply producing the credentials of these corporate/political entities will alleviate any doubt that they are swindling the human race at the whim of their handlers. Therefore, the only territory where one might find any shred of truth or integrity unfiltered and uncorrupted is in the one I've just described. As to be expected however, the window of opportunity to seek the truth through seperate channels is closing. Censored, infiltrated, and nearly indistinguishable from the mainstream media, the alternative media is a closing tunnel, one that by the grace of God I am allowed to watch implode feeling satisfied with what I have obtained. Sifting through disinformation, misinformation, and the lack of information, often being deceived, continuously coming back to things I once thought I understood only to realize that I had been duped, has lead me to the most unlikely and profound of conclusions; that the Bible is the true history of the world, and within its volume, the world's condition, conclusion, and metamorphosis. That this series of sixty-six books written in three different languages by forty different authors spanning three continents over the course of 1600 years forms a single integrated message, a love letter from God to you, concerning your identity, your future, your purpose. This is so outrageously contrary to what I had set out to prove, and I understand that to many this sentiment appears archaic, regressive, too fantastic with not enough to go on. What could persuade you to suspend the academic and cultural paradigms that have been presented to you as fact? Perhaps I should highlight the double-edged sword that is your skepticism. Is one side sharper than the other? Are you so convinced of the solidity of your position that you would not humble yourself if its grounds began to quake? How learned are you in the doctrines of those you oppose? And from where is the source of your opposition; a stigma towards those who practice it or its actual teachings? How much sleep have you lost looking for the truth? Are you convinced that you've found it, or that it just cant be found? Or have you numbed yourself to its necessity in your life. Above all, let me emphasize this as a concluding thought; The nature of truth is that it's exclusive. Two plus two is either four or five. It can't be both. Either you are the result of inorganic matter becoming sentient over time for no reason, or you are a divinely created being baring the image of a living God who has ordained that you would read this and consider his intentions for you; that you would realign yourself with his perfect love and guidance, repent from your sins and put your trust in his son Jesus Christ. Familiarize yourself with his character, the prophetic context of his emergence, the totality of his sacrifice. Get to know him, and if he really was who he said he was, deal with all of the other stuff.
