The Praise Reportis a breakthrough mini-magazine that features a testimony of how Jesus intervened in someone’s life and performed a miracle.During the first official meeting for the Praise Report the Lord turned the meeting into a miracle. As we began to ponder what was going to be the first testimony we were going to publish, the Lord had already set the miracle in motion. A few weeks before the meeting, Steven Pitts (co-founder of Praise Report) met a Gene Williams. Gene was a 60yr old street veteran who has been homeless for about 30 years. While paying his debt to society as a prison inmate in Lawrence County Alabama, Mr. Williams accepted Jesus as his personal savior. Living a recession lifestyle on the streets, Gene, depending on money from strangers and monthly disability check rested wherever the Lord allowed him which often times meant sleeping with rats. During the meeting Steven received a phone call from Mr. Williams who said, “Brother Steve, I’m out here at Sonics and I got about 45 cents on me. Do you think you can come out here and get me something to eat?” Steve replied, “Yea sure, I’m in a meeting right now, but Ill get out to you in about an hour.” A few minutes later Gene called Steve back and said, “Brother Steve, I got my check!” which he had stopped receiving a few months prior to meeting Steve. Steve said, “Praise God! Ill be out there in a bit!” When Mr. Pitts arrived out to meet Gene they formed a plan. Gene went to Wal-Mart to get some supplies and check about a Motel room to get cleaned up, while Steve went off to check craigslist.com to find Gene a roommate. In the brief time that Steve had known Gene (about 2 weeks) in one of their discussions they had spoken about this day. As Steve was looking on craigslist for a roommate he couldn’t locate the advertisement that he had seen before for $270, so he prayed and asked the Lord what he should do. Continuing the search, he saw an ad and called the number, but got a voicemail. Searching on, there was an ad that caught his attention. It was a room for rent for $325 a month which included room and board and laundry and cleaning. The bottom of the ad read, I AM A CHRISTIAN. Praise God! Steve called the number and a young lady named Heather answered the phone. Steve said, “Hello, My name is Steve, I’m not calling for myself, but I’m calling for a friend of mine. I have to be honest with you, he is a homeless guy and he has been to prison and I’ve only known him for about two and a half weeks. But, in the little time that I have known him we praise God, we have bible study, and he’s a great guy.” Heather said, “Steve, I’m tingling.” And Steve replied, “Why, what’s going on?” “Heather said, “Well for the past month my job has been cutting my days

on duty (Heather is an EMS personnel) and I have been losing my faith. They cut me down to three days a week and now down to one day a
week. I have a $400 past due mortgage and I have $3 dollars to my name and 3 kids to feed. Right before you called me I was on the phone making arrangements to do something I know that I shouldn’t do for the money.” Steve said, “Heather, the Lord has just revealed himself in a mighty way! Earlier today I was in a meeting about a ministry that the Lord has put on my heart called the Praise Report which is a mini-magazine which features a testimony of how the Lord performed a miracle in someone’s life. Not just a miracle, but 3 miracles in one!” God is good. Immediately, Steve, Heather, and Gene moved forward with plans under the supervision of the Holy Spirit and the angels of God. When the Lord opens a door, you go through it, unless otherwise instructed by the Holy Spirit. The next morning as Mr. Williams woke up and walked out on the porch he saw a beautiful field before him. Down to the very detail he saw that field in a dream the night before last when he was still sleeping in the streets. “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophecy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.” Acts 2:17

Wow...His timing really is always perfect. Even if it doesn't look that way to us.

His reply is guaranteed, but in the way he chooses, not the way you choose, and at the moment he desires, not the moment you desire.
