Back in 1992/1993 I powerfully came to know Christ. This was after speaking with 3 pastors, being prayed to, and laying of hands by them. After our chat I started traveling and hiking mountains all over the USA. Hiking just to spend time talking with the Lord. Asking for the gift of tongues and to receive the Holy Spirit. I can honestly say the Lord was speaking with me 98% of the time I hiked them mountains to seek the Lord.

Fast forward to March 10 2017. Went hiking South of Las Vegas. Memory lane of talking with the Lord while out on the road.
My talk today had me feeling like nothing but sin has filled me since back in the day when the Lord was working so powerfully in my life. I must say that I am content knowing that the Lord does still hear and speak with me today. :eek:
Not that I am much of a tool to be used for his purpose at this time.

Have you ever tried writing down any of your conversations with God? It makes for interesting stuff when it's down on paper, and can be understood better I find. :)

You are spot on with that response 88. Seems like that could be a tough road to follow. But all things are possible with God.
For back in the day, Actually only 4 years ago. I was all about being lead by the Spirit. Sharing the Gospel, and sharing the testimonials that others have given me. Pastors and the like.

Two weeks ago I was carpooling with a stranger from a hiking club. She works with law enforcement and was talking about
the evil in the world. A door was wide open to share what the Bible has to say about such things. I chickened out and did not mention the Bible. Later in the conversation she mentioned that she goes to Church. Then I maned up and talked about God and the Bible. :D Guess im back to drinking milk again.

***don't be too hard on yourself---the Lord knows how to bring us back into His Army (frontlines)...

That would be interesting. Yesterdays hike with the Lord went something like this!... Hi Lord, Here I am, Some 23 years later after you revealed so much too me back then. I know for you, this is only a few micro seconds of time. I wonder if I have done enough of your work for after all you have revealed too me. Then I feel this sensation/conviction that my whole body is full of sin. For I have been doing nothing for the Word of God.

I then ask for the Holy Spirit to cleanse the sin from within my body. To heal me. I do feel/believe that the Holy Spirit does come back into my life. (Although he never left) It as if I have had a 2% cleansing of sin from within. The prompting of the Lord guides me to continue on the path that I have just taken. Ask for cleaning and healing. During these talks. The Lord will guide me with a whisper of other things he wants me to do for the Kingdom of God.

Interesting as I type about these good things Of God. I feel a pull of the world not wanting me to do what i have just written. This is where I thank the Lord for the Scriptures that I do know.

Every day is your day of ministry! Be bold! I too suffered with a man pleasing spirit, a spirit of fear of rejection... A spirit of fear of lack of knowledge that i don't have all of the answers. The Holy Spirit has the answers and you are called and perfectly placed for His service. You dont have to be that awesome bold dude carrying his huge sign on the las Vegas strip but you can love on the people. The workers are few and i know He has you perfectly placed. The Holy Spirit is ministering to you right now how awesome your ministry​ will be! To God be the glory! ❤ God bless you!

our journey is all about Jesus teaching us to lean-trust-on-Him...when we refuse and our
priorities go awry, then we suffer in our spirit and heart - we find, after a while
the worthlessness of doing our own will instead of His is futile and we are just
going in a circle self-defeat...making the right choice to Trust and obey Him
can only result in Loving Him and ourselves in a new Light...
we are praying for your strength to return and for your desire to rest in
His Loving arms in all that you do...

His Patience and Love are astounding! nothing in this or of this world can compare!
