What a cop out this entire conversation is. The facts are that homosexuality is fundamentally against how God created us. Those who accept Christ within them simply can't want homosexuality. Some people are crippled in their sexuality, and with the world's accent on immoral sex, it is a problem. So, this is simply a fact of life we all live with.

All this poor me, I am hated, I have this problem is uncalled for. If someone hates a person based on this they are crippled, too. It is the same with seeing a person with alcoholism. We are sorry for them being taken over by something that harms them so.

How does one live as a follower of Christ when they are being attacked for being gay. Is it so wrong that God has made me this way? Yet you tell me that God is grateful for the way i was made. What have i done but be myself around you, open, honest, and respectful. I am now regretting my decision on becoming a Christian because of the comments i get. Do i just delete this site from my favourites page and forget that i ever came here? Because that's how im feeling right now. Hurt, destroyed....rejected; from the so called followers of Jesus.

Isaiah 1

10 Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the Lord: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
12 When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

You sure don't sound gay to me. You sound like someone deeply immersed in sexual immorality who is emotionally distraught that genuine Christians are rightfully rejecting your sexual immorality. They aren't rejecting you; however. Of course, if you are professing to be a Christian than you are subject to church discipline if engaging in fornication, adultery, and homosexual acts with other people. You may wish to begin attending one of the self-help groups for sexual addiction offered at Celebrate Recovery and other places. If you're not comfortable with that, try counseling.

7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

2 So do you think that you can judge those other people? You are wrong. You too are guilty of sin. You judge them, but you do the same things they do. So when you judge them, you are really condemning yourself. 2 God judges all who do such things, and we know his judgment is right. 3 And since you do the same things as those people you judge, surely you understand that God will punish you too. How could you think you would be able to escape his judgment?

Christians are often accused of "judging" whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses that state, "Do not judge." There is a righteous kind of judgment we are supposed to exercise with careful discernment (John 7:24). When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically (Matthew 7:2-5).

If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is his Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with his sin (Matthew 18:15-17) toward the goal of of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20) and restoration. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), of course.

Teachers need to speak against sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, "preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience and careful instruction."

Revelation 2:2 "I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false."

Galatians 2:11 "But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned."

1 Corinthians 5:1-13 "It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father's wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you. For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord."

Matthew 7: 21-23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Psalm 37:30 "The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment."

Amos 5:14-15 "Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph."

Isaiah 59:8: "The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace."

I Corinthians 1:10 "...be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."

Etc... etc... etc...

I am sorry that you do not feel accepted by the Christian community. I am mindful of the way I use words being so it does not lead to either off-subject matter, or in general commentary which is just not helpful. You state that you are homosexual. Others will have views on that and depending on how or where he or she is educated will likely have an effect on the way they think about homosexuality. I can imagine how difficult it is for you to have these homosexual leanings and the anxiety it causes, ie the so-called normal hetero-sexual standard versus your current leaning to be homosexual.

...What have i done but be myself around you, open, honest, and respectful. I am now regretting my decision on becoming a Christian because of the comments i get. Do i just delete this site from my favourites page and forget that i ever came here? Because that's how im feeling right now. Hurt, destroyed....rejected; from the so called followers of Jesus.
The Christian nature nonetheless is that of a Born Again experience. To be born of the spirit has and must cause change from the fleshly desires or leanings to the Born Again nature. I don't know how to suggest otherwise in all good conscience, and consciously in terms of my Christian belief system. What if it were possible to escape this, what is clearly for you, a tremendous struggle to be free? What if it were not so easy but still could be a reality for you. Would you desire to be free from this fleshly state? Alternatively, do you desire and embrace the homosexual lifestyle? If you accept the latter is true, well there is not a lot we can do as Christians for you, the reason being owes to we have choice; Jesus will not force us to do anything.

Please don't regret being a Christian. It is easy to pass judgment when we don't know what you are going through. We all have sinned and fall short. You are dealing with homosexuality and I am dealing with lust. I am a married woman and sometimes wish I could be with another man. I tell my husband how I feel all the time. I think this has kept me from seeing other men. I also pray about it. So we all have our own sin problem. Only God understands our struggle and is able to deliver us. I am sure everyone here has their own sin problem. We should be praying for each other.

You are more than welcome to have a look at many various answers I have given regarding the "gay question. I thought that might give you an idea of my viewpoint, as this might add onto what I am now writing.

I committed adultery almost 4 year's ago. I had every reason as to why I committed adultery, boy I sat and analized and question, and thought it through, and when I got to know the guy I choose, even had a "contract"with him on what I would supply and what my expectation were of him.

All nice and neatly packaged that was me. I even had a few conversation's with the Lord on the fact that he must of made me this way, because the needs that I have are not being met in my marriage, and heaven forbid I break the vow by divorce, adultery seemed an easier option.

The Lord gave me the desires to be deeply loved, and cherished, he gave me the desires to be respected, to be spoken to by my husband. If this wasn't happening then quite frankly I was justified in my behaviour????

You see the Lord never made me to be an adulterer, he never made a man or women to be a murderer, he never made a dad be a child molester. Life happens and we make choices, it is always about choice. The Lord Jesus loves you just as you are today, you come to Him just as you are, that is who he died for, you!

He never made a man to be with a man and he never made a women to be with a women, as I mentioned before it is always about choice, even when we think there never was one, that I was born this way, that I have always been attracted to men if you are a man.

He made you fearfully and wonderfully, he knitted you together in your mother's womb, He knows the plans he has for you and it is plans to prosper you not harm you.

I would NEVER EVER judge you or the choices you make, that is so far from being a Christian, we are to love one another. I just wanted to share a bit of my story with you, and somehow hope that it would help a little.

I have such an enquiring mind that I analise and double check everything, I have a daughter who likes girl's instead of boys, we have spoke about it when she will allow it. I love her with every single fibre of my being, so I can just imagine how much our Father loves her.

She began to like girl's because she was molested 3 times by boys she really trusted. One of my best friend was heterosexual she was gang raped, and became butch. Jesus blood cover's everything, I just always like to ask why we process hurts, and powerlessness on such a personal level that there could be a possibility of making a choice regarding our sexuality on a level we never even realised we made.

GOD BLESS

doesn't matter who thinks what about you. God loves you so much He sent His son to die so you'd have this opportunity to be with Him. if that ain't love then i dont know what love is.

Hate is a sin; sodomy is a sin, but the hatred of sin is - righteousness. Hating sodomy is holiness. Hating sinners is sin.

As a Christian, making excuses for ones own sin not only creates more sin, but it also leads other Christians off the straight and narrow and onto the path of destruction and hellfire.

Christianity is not about fighting with our own people, but it is about protecting them from the unsaved, unrepentant, back-slidden, adulterers, drunkards, prostitutes, gangsters and so forth.

Jesus poses the Christian's ultimate weapon against sin.

How do you know if someone is unsaved? = You will know them by their fruit.
How can we know the contents of someone's heart? From what goes in their mouth or out? = The abundance of the heart comes out the mouth.

Jesus said something awesome in His defense: I have come to complete the law, and not destroy it.

The Ten Commandments still stand. Amazing. (But we are saved by grace through faith?)

Yes! Jesus' life, death, burial, coming back to clinical life, ascending to Heaven to be seated next to the Father, and receiving all the Power of the Godhead (Jesus is God) - faith in this gives us salvation.

But Jesus says that we will know the sheep from the wolves according to their works...

Let's have a look at the ten commandments:

The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)
1 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
5 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
6 “You shall not murder.
7 “You shall not commit adultery.
8 “You shall not steal.
9 “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10 “You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.”
The trick is not to teach legalism, but that doesn't mean you can just do whatever you want and make excuses and create your own version of what Jesus said.

Paul is famous for his words about sodomy. Paul says that people who disobey God and do not want to repent and follow Jesus, but rather choose lust are given over to sodomy. Sodomy is what you get if you do not have the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God cannot take a host that is involved in habitual sin.

The Ten Commandments are what the entire Western Civilization is built upon. One of the oldest eastern empires, the Chinese, the fire nation - migrated directly from the Israelites through one of Noah's offspring.

For years the ancient Chinese refused to built towers because of the tower of babel. They even recorded the flood story on ancient tablets.

The Chinese, Koreans and Japanese were given over to horrible poverty, famine and disease because they resisted the Spirit of God. God was nowhere to be found while dictators murdered tens of millions of their nationals, 'cus - they chased God away. You can't blame God if you not even involving Him in the first place.

The Bible compares the Spirit to a dove, Jesus to a Lion (Jesus is actually a warrior, there is nothing effeminate about Him and people reported that he was actually quite ugly and a normal man), and the father is often referred to someone clothed in white with the intensity of the Sun.

Guess what... Jesus (in the book of Revelations is given the same description as the Father). Jesus is the Father, the Father is Jesus.

Whenever you find yourself being disgusted by certain people, you must always remember that our Patriarch Father, Abraham was a Sun God worshiper. This is very important.

Of course Abraham repented, but the point is that - we must approach fleshly and sinful things by the Holy Spirit of God.

Just because 90% of the world thinks that Sodomy is fine, does not mean that Jesus agrees.

Remember, only one person fought to defend the deity of Christ when it became an issue.

All the Apostles were slaughtered by the Catholics.

Millions of Christian families were destroyed during the Thousand Years of Catholic Inquisition.

The Catholic Inquisitions ended in the 19th Century. Just the other day.

Right now the Middle East Christians are getting martyred like crazy.

Being confident and self-improvement are important issues.

The Bible puts the lives of the poor, widows, orphans, martyred and persecuted before our lives.

So if you think defending sodomy is an issue, then you definitely have a bag of issues that you need to start discussing before America, Germany, Europe, China, Korea, Pakistan, Iran or any other number of nations decides to throw in their towels over Peace-Treaties.

Remember that the Prophet Jeremiah was the type of guy who wrote letters to kings/presidents prophesying how God would destroy them and give their kingdom over to someone more worthy.

The Bible teaches us to pay close attention to the signs of the times with circumspection.

If Jesus decides He is coming back right now, and you aren't ready - that's a life wasted, a journey missed and a future waiting filled with the terrifying prophesies of the Revelations, Danial, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Micah, Jonah and Moses. There were many, many, many disciples of God who preached about the end, not just John, not just Peter.
