It was a few years back, but I feel compelled to share. I owned a Ford Taurus. Kind of a beater when I bought it. I had the trannie replaced once. Then a few months later, I felt the spirit share with me at a curve on a road near home, "It's time to look for a different car". I considered it briefly and the "Yah, but I can't afford it", was the only passing thought. Maybe a month later on Memorial Day, on the same curve, the transmission went out again. I took a side road to get off of the main traffic area and coasted up a hill to land smack dab in the middle of a railroad track. "Can you hear me NOW?" LOL. "Yes I hear you, Lord." I laughed initially knowing I'd ignored him. I live in an area where trains are few and far between except for harvest and pre-planting time. I wasn't worried, but the irony of it was true to the word. Better still, a family slowly drove by just after I landed there and stared at me in concern and disbelief. The father got out and asked, "Are you trying to get hit?" He then helped me push it off the tracks and my friend picked me up with a tow. God bless the good people who care. Praise God for His divine protection and love. -student

Yes indeed, may God bless the good people that care. I hope the car that you got after this one was more reliable and requiring fewer costly repairs. I bought a beater once for $500, put a weeks work of work in it swapping out bad parts for good ones. I had that car for 5 years and put almost 100,000 additional miles on it. I finally got sick of it and junked it. It was still running at the time. I have said quite a few prayers over the years asking God for safe travels and for whatever car I was driving to last as long as possible. Safe travels to you as well.

It was better by far. God is good...all the time.
