I'm in sc rite now & it has been raining daily this month. I've never exp this b4. However gloomy, it reminds me of my life story.
I don't recall a single answered prayer nor any unexpected blessing. Note: I don't include daily survival needs a blessing.
In fact, all my nitemares came true. Since childhood, I have been denied constitutional rites. God don't care. History proves he is slow 2 respond 2 the suffering of people. E.G., slavery of all kinds.
Amazingly, God has a lot of time just 2 bless 1 person in whatever fanciful manner requested. I don't get it & the more I remain in this offended state, the less I believe God's interest in anything substantially important.
Bottom line, I can't count on him. Never the less, it works 4 you so, may all your dreams remain intact.

If the only thing God ever gave you was the mercy of Christ's sacrifice you would be deeply blessed. And God promises good things. The things of the kingdom are good and the things of this world are useless. Even Jesus was homeless by his own admission yet he was quite blessed.

About a month ago I sent my Dad a text that said "maybe we ask for snakes when we think we're asking for bread" In reference to Matthew 7:11. Are you sure you're not looking for snakes when he's trying to hand you bread?

Maybe if you would change your doom and gloom negative attitude, you would start seeing the blessings He gives you every day..and yes, daily living needs ARE blessings, so start showing more appreciation..

We live in a fallen world in which sin has tainted every aspect of our existence
to the extent that were this world to be free of such, we would no longer
recognize it, and this is, in fact, what we look forward to in the life to
come when we are finally united with God forever after :) If you
are not grateful for having your daily needs met, you may need
to check yourself. I suggest you start a gratitude list. You may
struggle with it at first, but persisting in it will help you.

Perhaps you need to look on the bright side of things. Sounds like you have had a depressed gloomy life for sure. Perhaps you can offer a few details about what has been happening. I don't understand the part about being denied constitutional rights. I have said a little prayer for God to brighten up your day. To feel the full effects you may have to take off the dark glasses that may be obscuring your vision. I could use a little of those fanciful manners too but that's the way it goes I guess and I'll have to make the best of it with what God has currently provided me. Tomorrow's another day and who knows what a fancy manner of things will happen.

please read your Bible! Jesus didn't create all of the chaos and awful things that
happen in this world that we live in - we're reaping mostly what we have sown anyway,
also through our fore-fathers, and handed on down...unless we have the will and guts to
READ and LEARN about why we are here in the first place, 'our history', we must always try
to seek Jesus and His ways in order to come out of this hopeless, satanic, world...

it's always boils down to 'the heart' of us, plus so much more...

if you want to know what His plans are and what His plan is for YOU! READ YOUR BIBLE and
OBEY what it is teaching you through the Love of your Creator...

To all who have replied,
Replies to my post include a lot of negative criticism, "read your bible", "check yourself", "if you just think on the bright side", etc. Did I really sound new?
As sad as the perpetual state of affairs that I posted about, I still ended my comments more positive toward the community than vice versa. The only christian like reply didn't occur yet as your posts tell me.

All have agreed that slavery which brought on exodus never happened nor the holocaust or America slavery which added the 13th amendment 2 the constitution, 2 say the least.
Instead of leaving this post with validation of your blessed experiences, I leave with the wish that God awaken your minds. For I too once had a dream and in my dream I was quite aware that I was asleep in my awakened state most of my life. Pointless.

funny, i been in SC all month and i wish it had been raining every day - but it hasn't, we've had 90-100º weather and drought.

there were a couple days with scattered showers.. but from down here, the 'gloom' has been the constant, hot sun. which was reprieved for ~2.5 minutes today, beautifully, cosmically, thankfully :)

but i guess it's a big state . . ? we don't necessarily have the same weather.

May I ask who "all have agreed" are? Exodus did happen, the Holocaust did happen and slavery happened,it happened all over the world and is still happening to this day. So Im not sure what you mean by awakening the mind. Can you explain?

If you are answering me,I dont say so,though I believe it has all happened, but history says so. It isn't denied by level headed, non conspiracy believing people.

i won't be down here much longer. i miss snow. the whiteness, the way it blanks out all the world into a single, bright field, almost featureless save for texture and light. all the little things that seemed like they mattered, but never really did, erased, covered. but He remains - yesterday, today, tomorrow, long before any of those things and long after they are whited out.

I don't know what kind of response you were looking for when you posted this but God is not a Genie and a lot of times his answer is is wait or no and for good reason. A lot of times we think we know what we want and what we need but we really don't, rarely ever receive the answer yes in my prayers when I ask for things but I trust his wisdom and his insight that i know I myself lack. The funny thing is that instead of making my faith and trust in him weaken it appears to strengthen it, this si why i think sometimes it takes more faith to ask and not receive and yet trust him anyways and I know for me personally when my trust and faith in him was weak with the right attitude even if I didn't really trust him at first he used the wait or no method to build my faith and trust in him.

You don't consider daily survival needs a blessing until they're taken away :)
And sometimes the answers to prayers is no :)

Be careful when you think God is not blessing you greatly.
You may realize someday the true blessing you had when it's taken away....

I have had more sicknesses than I can count
I've been raped more than once and treated inappropriately wayyy too much
I've been beaten and hated by people who should love me
I've lost people I love the most in some of the worst ways possible
I've had to live in some awful awful places, I've had to make it through years without a bed and limited food
I've had to raise a family at 14/15

I can keep going.....

But God blesses me daily. Whether it just be allowing me to open my eyes in the morning, or putting a pretty flower in my path when walking.
He blesses you as well.
