Last night I found myself praying for a woman whom I loved.
During the same prayer I found myself praying for something seemingly impossible.
"Bring them back together. If he will accept Christ, somehow, at some time, bring them back together... if it is Your Will. If they will like each other, love each other, then somehow bring them back. Lord, he needs you. We all do." I was praying for the unsaved ex.

Well, imagine my shock to check a message and find that he has confessed to accepting Christ into his life!

Let this be a reminder... God can change the most hardened of hearts.
Even when we are miles and miles away, God is very Near.

Prayer:
Lord, I know that it is you who saves us. Nothing but the Blood of Jesus can pay for our ransom, nothing but the Love of God reaches so far. For this reason, I have great hope that the unbelieving can get a new heart and spirit. Therefore, humble me when I am tempted to think "she's too far gone" or "he's never going to change." Instead, help me to remember how You found me and called me... and how you still Speak into a given hour.

Instead of getting bitter or weary, help us to pray fervently with Joy that surpasses understanding and thoughts of personal gain. Yes, God, help us to trust you for a one-day Victory. And even when/if we do not see the answers as we hope, remind us why You are Lord. In Jesus' name, thanks for still drawing people to repentance and to Your Side. No matter what, Get the Glory, in your way and time, amen.
