Someone approached me and offered me an ongoing work opportunity.
I was seated by the window and working on a notebook/scrapbook,
when the young man asked around for the nearest outlet. Of course, I
welcomed the stranger, but it led to a preplanned spiel, sounding like a peddler trying to make a sale.
Well, after I asked questions and listened, I am settling on the idea of potentially joining a small company that wants to utilize what I have to offer, in terms of ideas and design collaboration.
This is so unreal to me, because the person does not know me. And I do not know this person. Yet, I had literally just texted my plan to find more work, and I keep gravitating to graphic design for a career change.
Now, The man knows I put my faith in Christ and that I do not seek to push my faith onto him. And yet he already admits that he can learn from me (which may be true, but I humble myself, praying, "God, really?") And so after an hour of talking and listening and getting to learn some of each other's work history, we agree to meet again. Tomorrow morning, after we talk some more about what is expected, I could potentially have a new job.
May God bless the man in his honesty and may I contribute quality to His cause.
May I learn from this endeavor and grow in many ways. For God's glory, if it is His Will, in Jesus' name, amen.
