Hello everyone,just wanted to take a moment here and tell you what God has done for me!
Three major things happened in my life,all in one day. A couple of weekends or so ago. I was lying in bed around 1 am,and just so unsure what to do anymore. I had stepped down from teaching Sunday School to the children,because I felt it wasn't the right time and that I wasn't in the position spiritually to be teaching. The church shunned me,people cut me stares,glares,looks and all that in which seemed to just cut through me.They wouldn't speak to me,most wouldn't even look at me,and they wouldn't shake my hand all because I did what I KNEW was best and right.
Well,I had been out of church for a couple of months I guess...I was so just...in agony really. They basically betrayed me in a way,they expected so much out of me,and apparently I hadn't lived up to their ''expectations'' and they had to step up to the plate. They basically forced me into teaching,I had no training at all in teaching. I had no materials in which to teach from or anything. I took my Bible and that's all I had.(mind you that's all we need,but when it's little children you need something on their level).
So I was just broken in every aspect,and I started praying,I was crying,repenting for allowing the enemy to take over like that,for all my wrongs,praying God help me,forgive me,etc. I also prayed a special prayer for my parents. As I was praying,I felt this feeling inside,that was amazing! It felt like the consuming fire that God is,the light of his face was just shinning in my heart,and bursting through!
Later that day,the man God sent to me told his parents how he feels about me,and my grandparents as well. He received their blessings and permission to marry me one day
. Then that night,out of the blue, for the first time in I have no idea how long,my dad called me!
He's OFF drugs! He isn't drinking like he use to,if at all! He apologized from the heart,and wants to be in my life now! He even talks about God,having faith,the Bible,etc with me which he has NEVER done before. He asked to go to church with me also! Sadly he had to work this past Sunday and couldn't make it,but hopefully this Sunday he can go. Lastly,I returned back to church this past Sunday,and was able to testify,as the message brought was centered exactly around what had happened in my life! God is great,glory hallelujah! Praise his name!
