THIS IS NOT MY visions but I HAD to put it up... SAME goes for movies.. REALLY... feels good but also a bit eerie, trance like suggestive state, they are attacking us. CAREFUL YOU MIGHT BE WORSHIPING DEMONS!

In 1990, God gave me a vision. He showed me a vision of young people all over the world and how that they were being led astray by music. In more detail he showed me that the white youth of America were being lead astray by the Heavy Metal and Hard-core Metal music fad. Many young people became victims of this satanic move of darkness upon the music industry. Suicide, pornography, drugs, and parental defiance was portrayed as being “popular”, or the “in thing” by this perverted music style. Heavy Metal and Death Metal artists sang perversions and pushed these horrible values upon the white youth of America with little resistance from the society. The end result was suicide, Satan worship, and drug use by our youth and the loss of many souls. The white youth of America are still suffering from the influence of metal artist to this day. In the same vision, God showed me that Heavy Metal music was not reaching the black youth of America and that the enemy had a greater plan in store for us. He showed me that the enemy was creating a new type of music that would reach far beyond the color barriers that Heavy Metal could. The enemy’s plan was to create a form of music that not only influenced the Black youth of America, but it would reach the White, Hispanic, and all other races and influence them to act and behave in total rebellion to God and to their parents. The music he showed me that would surface is what we now call Hip Hop. The music that is performed by today's Hip Hop artists is similar to Heavy Metal's influence. Gangsta rap and Hip Hop artists have bridged the gap of Satanism and the occult that once divided the races, and now has produced the most popular, culture driven music ever. Many of these artists distort the Bible and Christianity by claiming to be messengers of God and some even claim to be Christ. New female and male rappers have began to use sexual perversions to sell millions of records that promote hard-core pornography to young teenage girls and boys. We as a church must be aware of the danger of music laced with sex, violence, Satanism, and drug use. God showed me that this music would introduce young teenagers to sexual relationships without the consent of their parents. It would take the place of their parents as role models and form a nation of fearless young people that would be rebellious to society and to God as well... I guess the saddest part of what God showed me was the relationship of this Hard-core music and the music of our church! God showed me that the enemy would not only pervert the secular music, but that he would even begin to involve these perverted artists with Christian music. God showed me an outburst of Christian music that would promote these sinful artists by including them on Christian albums. They would use these same secular producers and artists to produce Christian music. Also, these perverted artists would use Christians on their albums to validate them and their lifestyles! I never thought that it could happen, but it is happening!! Christians have began to not only listen to and purchase this corrupt music form, but has welcomed these secular artists into the Gospel and Christian music industry.

I couldn't agree with this more. A lot of people tend to not take music seriously. Music has a large spiritual impact good or bad, whatever you listen to.

It seems like a daunting task to try to combat a philosophy that roots itself in our mind through what we hear...If Christ didnt always help im sure i would have been bowled over by the magnitude of evil in music.. music seems to have a higher connection with the soul... the expression of Metal and Death Metal and any number of music movements centered on self love and hatred is the condition of our hearts.. the abhorring music of my generation is a symptom of the widespread death that laces the world of greed and corruption that capitalism is run on. Anger is understandable to me, and it definantly comes across in the music scene....

I believe that modern music is symptomatic of a larger problem; an overall attack on our Judeo Christian values by the forces of evil in the guise of secularism and progressivism. I am a "child of the sixties" and I remember well the "enlightened thinking" that started to crystalize during that decade. Things like 'evolution vs. creationism', 'science vs. scripture', 'free love', and of course 'rock n roll music'. I can distinctly remember telling my own mother to "get with it, mom, this music is the wave of the future". Out of that decade of "progressive" thinking came such things as no-fault divorce, gay pride and abortion, just to mention a few.

I truly believe that all these things, including the music, were engineered by the devil to turn us away from our Christian roots, and blur the line between right and wrong. Today's music, among other things, glorifies sexual promiscuity and encourages young people to rebel against their figures of authority. I think the devil must be pretty proud of his work over the last 50 years.

From a book I read recently there has even been attack from different manner of exotic religion... from what i could gather the book was suggesting a trend among Hindu yogis to distort Christianity... the world veiw of Christianity is that it is dead...... I can only imagine what an impact local influences have had.. but maybe its a pull-push thing.. maybe the more there is of distortion and the more that others see that the "way of the world" in alll its filth and greed doesnt work, maybe then the more can see Truth in the person of Christ.

Where great sin abounds, the grace of God does thrice abound

I couldn't disagree more to this post.. I believe that a christian should be able to make "Christian-like" decisions, it's called peer pressure and it's all about who you choose to surround yourself with. I don't know about the kids you speak of, but my friends and I make our own decisions, good or bad and we accept responsibility for our actions, because we had good parents, again, who made grown-up decisions.. i think it all comes down to how you were raised..

sorry if this seems too blunt its just my opinion :)

what about Christian Metal music?

YouTube - Top 10 Christian Metal Bands

If your faith is strong enough you can eat food sacrificed to idols but if your faith is weak and you think its a sin and the act makes you think you are worshiping the idol then you should not eat the food. If your faith is strong enough you can listen to any music, but if its weak causes you to worship those things that are not of God then you should avoid them.

You will not be judge by your actions but your heart and WHY you do the things your do: out of love of God or out of love of self and the world. who do you worship? God or Satan?

23 “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. 24 No one should seek their own good, but the good of others. - 1Corinthians 10:23-24.

To be honest I'd rather just not do things I feel convicted for. Rather than dab in and out of it your whole life cause your told it's okay in small doses. Why not just give it up for God and make things easier for yourself in the long run, and be rewarded in heaven for your humble heart. Rather than being attached to something you don't really need your whole life.
