I was at work one day, and some military personnel tried to recruit me. A lady and a guy. Precious souls, may the Lord bless them greatly.

The lady has parents who were ministers, and the guy was her friend i guess. We had a short conversation, and they asked me why I did not want to join. I don't believe I hesitated this time, and I was able to witness to them. I told them that what I do is service, and that what they do is service, and whether in the army, or here on my job, we should do our service.

I only hope I could remember what the exact words of the conversation were, but standing in front of me were two precious souls, and I only hope the Holy Spirit ministered to them in what I said, as I didn't know that much about the Lord as I have learned. But we did get into the issue of whether or not it is okay to kill or not, even if in war. This was a tight one. LOL.

I did not want to make them feel guilty. But the Lord blessed me with gentleness. It is like a leading. A guidance. I understand even now how the Holy Spirit works. He gently GUIDES us into the truth. He doesn't open up the heavens and send a lightning bolt down and strike the earth and come out of a cloud with wild hair and a voice like a lion!! That would probably just kill us. But he gently tugs and leads. Indeed, sometimes he has to be a little stern, but he leads and guides us gently. I knew the Holy Spirit was working in that.

These are the weapons of our warfare. It is a fight over the hearts of men, even our own. And with the sword of the Lord, the Holy Spirit cuts deep to the hearts. He doesn't need our help, all he needs is the Word of God. It is God's work. No man can glory. And I love it!!! Haha.

May Jesus bless you.
