I was wondering why it was that children, when they are left in the dark, they become fearful. Tonight I walked outside at night, like I do often, but I became a little fearful. Looking around as if something was going to happen.

Many nights I had to walk long distances in the night, with all sorts of noises and things scaring me.

Like one night I had to walk down a long road that had woods on both sides, and NO lights. So, when a car would come I would be SOOO glad, because that meant light was coming, and while the light was there I would run to get some distance while I could see where I was going. But when the car would pass too far, I would stop and walk slowly again, praying the whole time, even repenting (or at least saying I would)!! lol.

But I thought about a child who wants a nightlight. And I remember when I was a child, I wanted a night light. Because the darkness put fear in me. And when we got that nightlight I stared at that nightlight until I went to sleep. I stayed concentrated on that nightlight, because simply looking at it gave me peace from fear.

And I thought about Jesus. How that he came as Light in a dark world. And in this dark world, we have to stay focused on that Light, or else fear would come in. The Lord has made me like a little child, TRULY!! I cannot see without that Light, and if I don't have that Light to light my path, I can't run. And I call on The Light to give me peace when it is dark. And I pray that Light will lead me into His rest.

Things are concealed in darkness, but The Light exposes all things that are done under the cover of darkness.

May Jesus bless you.

I remember I was also afraid of the dark as a child. When we were visiting my other part of the family in Spain, I remember they had a lamp with many colours in it. I loved that light, as well as it moved around giving out all kind of colours. I too had to keep a light or lamp on many times when going to sleep. And it did made me more peaceful too.

I do have to say that I prefer the day over night in general too. Although I know that Jesus protects me during the night as during the day, and I do pray to Him and trust in Him taking care of me, still, I am not much fond of the dark. I beleive I have read somewhere in the bible that all kind of evil is done in the dark. It does makes much sense, since the day is so bright and so easy to be seen.

It is so great knowing and seeing how faithful Jesus is towards us, and that He never leaves us nor forsakes us. As long as we keep on holding unto His hand, and keep on walking together with Our Lord, we will remain in Him, and He will remain in us. He is a beautiful gift given to mankind, if just all could know this and become a part of His Salvation.

Don't you see!!!!

AMEN!!!

See how it is that Satan does his work in this world which is full of darkness(sin), and how that Jesus came as light into the world(by righteousness)????

See the revelation now how Jesus was light in a dark world full of sin, and how that those who follow them are to be also, light in a dark world???

AMAZING!!

This reminds me of what was written, that as the love of many wax cold iniquity will increase. Now, this will surely happen, and it is happening NOW!! But those who have oil in themselves will.... GUEST WHAT!!... ENDURE THE NIGHT!!!! And they will meet the groom with light in their lamps!!!

But the foolish virgins will not!!

You see, Jesus came, as righteous reproving the world of sin by the Holy Spirit and of judgement and of righteousness, but the world killed him by sin. And he made disciples who preached righteousness and the kingdom of God, and many were killed and locked in prisons and banned from cities.

And some today are the same, and banned from websites.. hmm, very many similarities.

Oh well, if you get kicked out of one you go to another PREACHING THE GOOD KNEW OF JESUS CHRIST!! SALVATION FROM SIN!!

Yes, we have to keep our eyes to the hills, where our help comes from!!

May Jesus bless you.

I could sleep in the dark, but I won't, I don't like walking into walls or chairs when I get up for water or let the dog out.
I think it is the same idea with the light of Jesus. We do a lot more stumbling around in life, with out His light to guide us.

Depends on God's plan with every person. For some it might go this way like you are saying, they get banned for speaking out what's true, and then they go to another site. But for another person getting banned can also mean that God is telling this man/woman to stop going to another site and start spending a lot more time on Him.

Going to a Christian site can be of great growth and sharings for some people, but it can also be a lot of time wasting as well as not spending the time needed for putting God as our first priority. Only God knows what effect most sites can have on each different person, and for some people spending too much time online can be more of a struggle than doing what God wants them to do.

God bless you too, and keep on staying in the light. :)

Yes, Shekaniah, the light's good for getting water, avoiding chairs and walls, and letting the dog out. lol.

(I'm playing with you, but it's true too!)

...This seems really meaningful tonight.

(But tomorrow it may be just about chairs, walls, and water again. :) :) )

Thanks for your lovely posts, greetings and prayers.
