If you believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one and came together in one body-- Jesus Christ. And you are supposed to be baptized in the NAME of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost (spirit). What NAME should you be baptized in? Should it go more like this? I baptize you in the name of Jesus Christ whereby you recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost (eternal life) for the remission of your sins.
Doesn't the Trinity and the way it's phrased confuse some? If you really believe that Jesus is God, isn't this a less confusing way for people? God bless you

No one else out there that sees the truth? That GOD is GOD is GOD--------there is only ONE GOD and one NAME by which you will get to heaven----USE IT----Do not profess Jesus out one side of your mouth and something else out of the other side. You can not have two faces when you worship God.
THERE IS NO HIGHER POWER THAN JESUS CHRIST AND NO ONE ELSE HOLDS THE KEYS T0 LIFE AND DEATH. TO BELIEVE THAT MORE OF GOD'S SPIRIT IS OUT THERE IS NOT WRONG FOR IT IS. DON'T USE THE WORD FATHER UNLESS YOU ARE CALLING JESUS FATHER.
JESUS (Yeshua) Bless You

Huldah, sometimes I'm not even sure what you're trying to say.

EDIT:
You need to keep all your beliefs about God, on the basis of scripture and scripture alone.

Why not? Were you raised in any church? Have you even read the Bible or prayed? What faith are you? And what are you declaring?

Absolutely. And remember God never misplaces his brain. We are tots.

I hope you realize, you just agreed to Pantheism by definition. Christianity is not pantheistic. God doesn't have a "brain". The human nature of Jesus did, but the HS and the Father do not.

The head of the body has many members. The foot cannot be the head. Jesus is the head of his body of believers. God never misplaces his head--or his intelligence. All did not make up one for ONE created all the body parts. We are merely small cells of a really huge God and we will never rule that intelligence. Try again. And for all who don't know what's going on go to the last page of BE CAREFUL in misc.
Now Satan get off the internet.
Jesus Bless You

Ok...I don't know how you couldn't believe in the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit might be three different parts, but they're still one. Same thing with your own body. You have certain separate parts...you have hands, feet, eyes....they might be different, but they are what makes your body...still one whole body. And if you've ever seen an orchestra or know what an orchestra is, you know they have different parts too. But they're still one whole orchestra.

Not quite, but this will help.

CARM said:
Included in the doctrine of the Trinity is a strict monotheism which is the teaching that there exists in all the universe a single being known as God who is self-existent and unchangeable (Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8). Therefore, it is important to note that the doctrine of the trinity is not polytheistic as some of its critics proclaim. Trinitarianism is monotheistic by definition and those who claim it is polytheistic demonstrate a lack of understanding of what it really is.

  • The Trinity
    • God is three persons
    • Each person is divine
    • There is only one God.
Many theologians admit that the term "person" is not a perfect word to describe the three individual aspects/foci found in God. When we normally use the word person, we understand it to mean physical individuals who exist as separate beings from other individuals. But in God there are not three entities, nor three beings. God is a trinity of persons consisting of one substance and one essence. God is numerically one. Yet, within the single divine essence are three individual subsistences that we call persons.

  • Each of the three persons is completely divine in nature though each is not the totality of the Godhead.
  • Each of the three persons is not the other two persons.
  • Each of the three persons is related to the other two, but are distinct from them.
The word "trinity" is not found in the Bible. But this does not mean that the concept is not taught there. The word "bible" is not found in the Bible either, but we use it anyway. Likewise, the words "omniscience," which means "all knowing," "omnipotence," which means "all powerful," and "omnipresence," which means "present everywhere," are not found in the Bible either. But we use these words to describe the attributes of God. So, to say that the Trinity isn't true because the word isn't in the Bible is an invalid argument.

Also, I would avoid trying to make analogies to the Trinity. They end up leaning toward heresy. I used to do the whole "H20 is water, fog, and ice!" but thats Modalism.
