Your life may seem not worth living now, but only God knows what is in your future.

My life fell apart about 7 years ago. I broke my back, had a nervous breakdown, lost my wife of 20 years and couldn't even see my two boys. I tried to kill myself. Obviously I was not successful. Thank God !!! I had surgery on my back, my wife took me back. Now my wife of nearly 30 years and I have a wonderful life. I am still disabled, but both of my boys have married wonderful girls and I am looking forward to holding my grandchildren.

I live in severe pain from many different degenerative processes, emphysema and a heart condition. I sometimes feel like I have life so tough, then I remember my Dad who had been fighting leukemia for 7 years and he has just recently been called home to be with Jesus,
never to know pain again.

I think about the 11 million people in Africa who don't have any food, water, shelter or even safety. I heard about one woman who started walking many miles in the scorching heat with 6 children to get to a place she had heard had food and water. When she finally got there, she only had one child with her; the other five had died on the way. Can you imagine her pain?

I think about all the people in war zones who pray they don’t get killed, lose a loved one, have their house blown apart, have their crops/food destroyed. When I get really down, I ask God, and He holds me in His Spirit, loves me, and tells me hold on just a little longer and reminds me of the joyous eternal life I will be sharing with Him soon. Hold on just a little bit longer.

I'm sure you are hurting, but you are not alone, many people are hurting, forget yourself just for a moment and find someone else who is worse off and could use Gods’ help and your sympathy.

God is waiting for you to ask Him to take your pain away. He needs you to be tough when everything is falling apart. "you will be safe in His arms". It is a wonderful song, but also very true. Don't give up on God, as He loves you and so do all of your Brothers and Sisters here on CC.

I pray dear Lord, lay your hands upon those who are hurting, let them feel your love and healing power flow over and through them. I pray dear Lord lift them up, take away their pain, heal them physically, mentally and spiritually, grant them peace, tranquility and joy, in Jesus name, Amen.

Hello brother in Christ,

Thanks a lot for sharing this testimony. It truly speaks a lot to me. I'm hurting too and was wondering how to react to the pain. Now I'm able to see how.

Love,
Preethi
