Once, many years ago, I had been struggling to find work living at my parents house. I had grown very close to God. It was one of those times in my life when I truly got to see what an intimate relationship with God was. It is like being in love. Living a day around people, obviously harnessing the tongue and being truly content in all things, dwelling in the Lord. As soon as any moment would present itself, I would dodge around a corner and pray fervently "I love you so much God, thank You for being inside of me, thank You for loving me, thank You so much for being You. I just wanted to stop in and say hello and tell you again how much I love you, you are my everything. In Jesus name I pray, Amen." then I would walk back around the corner where people were, they would assume I went to the restroom or something, and I would carry on, seeking out every chance to be alone with God to pour my love to Him. It was during this time that I needed work. So I did what I was advised to do by the bible. I took it to God.

I went in my room and I closed the door and knelt facing my back wall. I said " Lord Jesus, I love you so much. Lord I really need a job and anything you say I'll do, and I will wait here until you answer me." so I knelt there, for probably a minute or two, I smiled knowing that God was amused by me and that an answer was coming. Then it came, He placed on my heart, "Help the Yoders." Now the Yoders were neighbors who had just bought the 10 acres next door, they had no house there yet, but you could see them out there digging on their driveway by hand, it was kind of swampy so they were digging out swamp to replace it with rock for the driveway. I had never met them before, I only knew there name because of my parents. So, as soon as God put on my heart "help the Yoders." I knew I had my answer, it was too late to do anything that day but I knew what I'd have it to do tomorrow. I left the room and told my mother "tomorrow after we get back from Home Depot, remind me to help the Yoders." she looked at me curiously and said "okay" The next day when we got back from Home Depot, I didn't waste a minute, I grabbed my gloves and a shovel and I walked over, there were two men working. The one man who was Mr. Yoder had very bright blue eyes, not only color bright, but you could see he had the light of God. Would you believe he was a preacher? lol I had no idea. So I'm helping them dig and about an hour or 2 into it, a black pontiac showed up and a guy in his 20's came over and seemed amused I was digging, it was Anthony Yoder, Mr Yoder's son. They immediately began talking about me, Anthony said, wow it seems you've got some good help, his father said "yes, he is a good worker." Anthony said "I don't know if you're looking for work but I just put an ad in the paper for a mason's assistant, if you want the job its yours. " I walked home smiling, knowing Gods love and guidance. I went to work that next morning. All praise and Glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I am so happy for you that is such a wonderful testimony. I have a daughter who just graduated from high school and will be starting college in the fall she has faithfully went out looking for jobs and calling on jobs daily since the week after graduation she's had a couple of interviews but no luck they always seem to want someone with experience which i can understand to a certain degree but how do they expect young people to get experience if no one gives them a chance please pray that she too may be presented with a great opportunity like u God Bless You I wish you the best of luck

Prayer sent Chellebee :) sometimes it takes many doors to close in our faces before we get to the one we are suppose to walk through. At the time is may seem so difficult and unfair, but in the end, looking back we wouldn't want it any other way. God bless you and your daughter :)

Adorablenoel: I can already see you are well on your way. God wants all of us to become intimate with Him, the more of yourself you give, the more of Himself He can give. Keep it personal, and there is nothing He won't do for you.
God bless :)

Brother DeadTosin Thank you so much for your testimony of the children Gods speaks to. For even as you were faithful to hear the call,so were they! A young woman came to our church in much distress, the woman brought her over to my Pastor, after speaking with her,he sent her to me. As the young lady came too me she said that Pastor said you will know what to do with me.

She said I just do not know how to love? I myself do not understand this, because I was an orphan, and even when I was adapted, I have never been made to be loved in myself or needed. After some prayer as i asked her to wait a bit,I would have an answer for you. After some 15 min she was drinking some coffee with the sisters, and I said please come along with me.

I took her to a very old lady, she needed some dishes done, and some floors cleaned,I asked the young lady if she wanted to understand what love is? She said Oh I would do anything to learn of it yes! Go then sister, knock on this lady door,do what she needs and you will have your reward from Jesus! She looked at me as if I was not of this planet! LOl

But she did as I had asked, about 2 hours and a half later as I was painting part of the Pastors house, she came running and skipping to me. She said Oh brother mark I understand love NOW!! After I had finished, the old lady asked me to come to her, which I did,she asked me to get on my knees so she could see me better ,which I did,and then she laid her hands upon my head, and I felt the power of God running through me!

Words from the Old lady" You my daughter have been here, and you have been there, but today you are where I am!" I understand!! For where Jesus is,he is with me at all times, and since this is true, then I also am loved all the time!! I LOVE my Jesus!! I always will!

You brother loved, so you could be loved. The first you did by faith, and from that faith you had, the fact was brought back to you! That is the way our Father works! It is more blessed to give then to receive. By faith yes,by fact, that which is received back from Jesus can be far greater then what we our selfs first gave. Some 30,60,and in your case 100 fold! A lesson to always obey the Word, Holy Spirit has spoken to you.( hebrews 11:6) And the lesson we learn when love is returned to us back in a much greater measure from our Lord! Thanks brother for being a light!( matt 5:14-16!!!)

:) brother Brighthouse, thank you so much for that testimony! Everything you said is so true. A smile came from deep within me when I read where you were going with her, and how you were bringing her to see what unselfish love truly is. Then when the very old woman placed her hands on the woman's head and said those profound words " You my daughter have been here, and you have been there, but today you are where I am!" that gave me chills :) thank you again brother. :)

This is one of my favorite testimonies, thanks brother. How you can be so close to God and how God speaks to you, I wish to have that relationship too. So full of faith, yet heart-warming at the same time. This gives me faith to know that God will provide me with what I need once I seek Him first.
