Sleep Disturbances - A piece of my tesimony

I don't have any christian friends. I do like some worship music yes.

Forth angel I don't believe you opened the door for satan how many people in the world do the things you used to do and don't get into such terrible situations? as for being nervous around people just don't worry about it when you are ready you can overcome this, it's a process and spiritual ladder it's not like you can just instantly overcome these things, if anyone tries to convince you otherwise don't believe them. some people are just born with a more sensitivity to then spiritual world, Not so much a bad thing I mean sure you come into contact with demons but angels are also in contact with you than many others. it's almost like you are stuck in between the spiritual world and the physical world. actually I believe someone made a documentary about that, some people call them the in betweeners. It has nothing to do with you and the devil this much is for sure

I wasn't really in the occult, as far as practice, it just always fascinated me. My quest was for knowledge and enlightenment, but through unsatisfactory means. I did learn a lot about occult practice though, but never tried anything. The only thing I can figure out, is I heard of this new thing called brainwave entrainment and how meditating to it can cause out of body experiences. I tried this for a while, and while no OBEs happened, I did have some pretty vivid dreams afterwards. The SP also took place some after doing this. Being aware you are dreaming inside of a dream is a really weird feeling. Strangely enough, as I was realizing how bad things were getting and was trying to get back into god's good graces the legitimate way, I began to miss the experiences. Then this last one happened and scared the socks off me.

But yeah, the occult, or meditation, or trying to astral project, or any new age beliefs or practices are to be avoided. Hopefully there will be someone who can learn from me before trying anything. I do not do any of this anymore and my fascination for it has gone away. I was saved when I was 13, so maybe my fascination with it was enough for God to allow some of this stuff to happen to me to teach me a lesson because I have, by no means, lived the way I was supposed to. I slipped in and out of my walk often, and found that reading the bible without proper mindset or help from others who actually studied it, caused me to misinterpret and even bend the scripture in order to justify my sins in some sick convoluted way. I never realized how bad I had distorted the messages until just this year.

Amazing what it feels like when the shades are lifted from your eyes.

1 Corinthians 12: 1-11, 27-31 spiritual gifts I was just reading about this actually yesterday. Also I can definitely understand what you are going through, including the anxiety. It's really hard to tell people cause they do this, sure, sure, I believe you of course, and you never see them again. lol

God has a reason for everything! When He reveals His reasons, it's awesome and you are glad everything happened as it did though definitely not in a million years want to go through it again.

Wow, yeah that's demonic. But you can defeat any and all demonic attack against you. When you became a Christian you were released from the law of sin and death(Romans 8:1,2) and you became dead to the world. Satan's authority over you is broken by the sacrifice of Jesus. Furthermore, our heavenly Father has seated us with Jesus (Ephesians 2:6) FAR ABOVE all other heavenly powers (Ephesians 1:19-22) ie. Satan, demons/spirits. We are seated with Him and so can use His authority to defeat these heavenly powers.

Using James 4:7 is a good prayer against the enemy. Something like 'I submit myself to Jesus, and command all enemies of Jesus Christ to leave my presence immediately.' will work . Got to pray it aloud though, even in a whisper. No-one and nothing apart from God Himself can read your mind.

Your best bet is to get some elders from your church to come around to your place to kick whatever it is residing there out. NEVER try to do this on your own. the prayer above will work temporarily, but you need to get a group in to bind and cleanse, which will have a permanent effect (unless you invite the damn thing back in, which can be done accidentally).

Remember that you are the one with the power here. No power of hell can overcome the cross. Any idea that you are too weak to resist the devil is just another one of his lies. ANY christian who submits to the Lord Jesus has far more power at his disposal than any demon. Also, do not believe any lie about God and the devil being equal or nearly equal in power. Satan is a created being, like you or I. God alone is Creator and comparing Satan's power to His is like comparing an ant to the sun. There is only gonna be one winner.

i believe your experience was caused by demonic attack. This phenomenon called "ALIEN ABDUCTION" as unbelievers people thought but in Christian's point of view this is called " Demonic attack". there's a website dedicated to all the people who have experienced the same as your's..in fact..their cases were much worse than yours..you're not alone as far as your experienced is concerned. these are demons pretended as aliens. there were some people who haven't accepted the Lord Jesus yet but when they used the name of JESUS in desperation during the abduction or the attack takes place...these alien/demons being have simply vanished. you are having this phenomenon because the demons had gain an entry in your life maybe in the past. it could be depression...witchcraft..quija board...watching sci-fi movies or alien from outer space kind of movies. Just seek a minister who had its expertise is DELIVERANCE MINISTRY. as for now...use the Name and the Blood of Jesus when they return...YOU have to completely surrender your past sins to the Lord Jesus otherwise they will return and harass you.

I want to thank everyone who has commented or prayed for me. I know I haven't thanked everyone individually like I should.

I believe demonic attacks are real. Like I told you in our conversation, i have felt things happen. I have heard very loud footsteps. Mostly people think I was imagining it. My mother, of course, asked if I was on drugs at the time. But, in the instance of the footsteps, I was sleeping. It scared me so much I just kept my eyes closed and waited for it to go away. Someone above mentioned horror or violent movies being a doorway. I get that. I am a horror movie fan all the way. They scare me but I love them. But I have noticed, the more I watch them, the more I see or hear things. I was on a horror movie binge a month or two ago. The more I watched, the more I heard. Only saw one thing. But I cut back on them, and have not heard anything since. I think I have always been perceptive to spirits and such. I think others are too. I don't know why. My heart goes out to you in everything you have gone through, and you know I am always here to talk if you need.

I used to have demonic sleep paralysis when I was a teenager dabbling in the occults. I remember my first experience and I know exactly what I did that opened that door. I would see dark shadows, the room would be red and there was evil laughter.

The day it went away was the day I declared Jesus name for protection. I don't remember if I prayed to him, which is why I say declared. I wasn't a Christian when I did this but after doing so, I never had those demonic sleep paralysis again.

Eventually I became a Christian.

I'm not sure why some Christians still get spiritually attacked this way. If you haven't verbally renounced the occult, then you should do so. You said you tried some new age mediation or something. It is all demonic and it opens doors. You need to renounce that verbally if you haven't, I believe something happens in the spiritual, when you do so. You should also ask God for forgiveness and tell him to close any doors. Also, do you have any occult materials in your house? Harry Potter, horror movies, Twilight, anything like that, those things need to be removed. Plead the blood of Jesus over your sleep.

Also, play some Christian music on low while you sleep. It can be on level 0. The demons will stay away.

Forth Angel, (pause, I'm trying to see through my tears to type) man i have been more touched by you than anyone on the site. I'm not crying because I'm sad for you. What you wrote about has happened to me since I was a child I am 49 now. Man I don't even cry. Don't take this the wrong way, but i know you, not the physical you, but the spiritial you. Do not be afraid. You are special. The darkness cannot hurt you. God is protecting you. He always has. He will only accept total surrender from you. I've seen the shadows, I've felt the evil, the intruder has touched me, I've seen colors, I've seen literal writing on my wall, I've heard the evil, speak, I've heard it laugh, all in my home its tried to get me to do unspeakable things. Forth, rebuke satan everyday! Do not hesitate to call on the name of JESUS!!!! The tremble at the mention of his name. If it is not of God stay away from it, run away from it. They don't want you to discover your power. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I shall fear no evil for Thou art with me. There are many other events that have happened that I won't share right now.

Flight thank you for your comment man. You may or may not have told people about it before. I know how hard it can be to do that. I know how terrifying the experience is and how psychologically traumatic it is. It's nice to know I'm not alone in this. To those who haven't experienced it, hearing someone talk about it is met with disbelief and that is hardest to deal with. Like the doctor in those videos I posted said, people who go through this have a very heavy weight on their shoulders because they can't talk about it. If you're willing, I'd be interested in hearing your story. You can mail me any time you want. I have other experiences I'd be willing to share as well.

When I would choose to do good evil is all around me. Some of us have been set apart. Accept and embrace the journey that God has placed in front of you. You can verbally reject evil thoughts. When you expieriance anxiety, don't panic. Pray for peace, the peace that passes all understanding. Be careful of who you let into you home. Pray for strength. Personally I feel 100 percent better. All the heavy stuff happened while was going through a divorce. As you stated it never happened when I was with someone except for my child a couple of times those were the two worst times. I found that casual sex opened some doors allowing evil into my home. So I stopped (that was a tough one. lol) but its easy for me now. I see evil coming now before it gets to me. The more I obey God the more power and protection He gives me. I really know who am now. I fear nothing I let God fight my battles. Marijuana, alcohol, and womanizing was my thing. I have an occational drink, but I stopped everything else. And no its not easy, but I'm happy with my decision.
