Hello my name is Michael. I am almost 19 years old. About 4 years ago I let the devil take me for a ride I should have never went on. At 13 years of age I had my first taste of rejection when my mother gave me to my father who was a drunk, and a porn addict. Within a month of me living with my dad he was put in jail for looking at porn on a public library computer. I was then living with my grandparents. I figured since my dad could not love me, maybe another man could. And my life as a homosexual was birthed. But it did not stop there. I found out that it was wrong to be gay according to the Bible, so I asked God to take it from me. Needless to say he did not. Sin is not something God snatches out of you, it is something that you have to give to God. I figured that God did not love me, and decided to turn to the witchcraft realm. I went out and bought candles, incense, and other tools of witchcraft. I began casting spells, and seeing things happen. I will never forget the night that God spoke to me. I was on my face before him, once again begging for him to take my homosexuality away from me. Once again he did not, but this time he spoke to me very clearly and said " Michael if you will just get your eyes off of yourself, and get your eyes on me, I will set you free". Little did I know that it was that easy. I began to focus on Jesus as my deliverer and my saviour instead of "the God that made me gay". I fell in love with God, and began to walk in my liberty. I am now 100% free from the lie of homosexuality. But God did not stop there, he spoke to me and said "Michael I have called you according to my purpose, to set people free that are in bondage" I have since then had 20 deliverances, 3 of those being involved with homosexuality. God is good, and I am never turning back. The name of Jesus is high above the name of homosexuality. Thank you for reading this, and if you are dealing with any area of your life that you find uncontrollable, Jesus is your deliverer. Homosexuality is a choice, and freedom is a choice!
