"I Am Free"

So this sorta has something to do with the song "I Am Free" because I honestly believe I am free now. So here is the story, I went into the prayer room and asked for prayer for an addiction I had (this was just tonight). I was hesitant at first to say what the addiction was because I kinda felt awkward saying it -- but long story short, my good friends sweetlybroken1 and user_ralph prayed for this addiction to be broken. During their prayer I immediately started to cry and felt the Holy Spirit come over me. The best way to explain what this felt like was I got goosebumps and got extremely cold and had to cover up. I had my hands raised and just felt the Holy Spirit in me, which is something I had not felt in the LONGEST time -- and I'm happy, which is also something I haven't felt in the LONGEST time.

I now feel comfortable saying that I HAD an addiction to porn... for two years. I am now free. Thanks to sweetlybroken1 and user_ralph for praying for me... and thanks to GOD for BREAKING this addiction and setting me FREEE!!! God is so GREAT! God Bless all of you!

Praise be to God. He is so good to us, so amazing. We will never fully comprehend His righteousness and glory. It is beyond us by far.

That is so true. God is so good to us... The one thing I find interesting is the fact we will never be able to fully comprehend God at all -- not just His righteousness and glory, but just everything about Him... it's crazy. I think that's one reason I've fallen in Love with this man named Jesus.

You aren't the only one that has struggled with this problem on these forums, you'd find most if not all men have been at one stage including myself.

Yeah... it's a very common problem... The thing that stinks though is that Satan has so much power and once you give Satan just a little bit of power, the smallest bit of power then he starts to get a foothold on you -- which then usually leads to a stronghold.

people who dont believe in god then your bound to run into porn, b4 i met jesus my mates woulda put a book infonta my face and i wouldnt push it away id have a look through neva realy got into though. My older brother is livin a life of sin he loves wachen dvds and lookin at photos he needs god very much in his life. he no,s whats write and whats wrong but loves the evil things of this world more than Gods. Great to hear about you being saved anyway mate. please any one who reads this pray fro my brother Caleb in New Zealand that he comes to Jesus.

Man I am so proud of you, just remember GOD NEVER SETS SOMEONE FREE JUST FOR THEMSELVES!!!!! God also set you free, to set others free. God is good. Now your job is to be in your word DAILY, and also to pray. Without these two things in your life, you will find the past slipping right back in. Trust me I know. I lived in homosexuality for 4 years, on and off, I would try and break free, then fall back in over and over and over and over. But finally I got into my word and devoted my life to it. That is when I got free. When I got my eyes on God and his word. I love you man. Im praying for you.

God also sets people free for HIS GLORY!!! This is nothing about OUR GLORY. All the glory be to God! AMEN!
