Words through the past 2 yrs.

I'm a writer. I journal often, not everday, but often; and I find that God often speaks to me if just start writing and trust that He will work. Today has been a difficult day. I'm constantly crying out "Lord, I will make it past this because you have good plans, and this will work out for my good because you hd this planned for my good and your glory long ago." To dig myself out of a pit I usually turn to worship and writing. I flip through the scripture. I write. I pray. And He is faithful to meet me if I seek Him and press in. Sometime ago I got a little notebook and decided it would be my promise book. I started out writing in it everyday, but I stopped and just picked up every now and again for the past year or so. As I was flipping through it, I realized afresh the faithfulness of God and just how much His plan is still active in my life. When I write I simply pray and let the pen go. I do not review the previous words. I do not want to introduce something that could prevent me from hearing the Lord. So my mind is clear and I write what the Lord says. These were words for me, but I do believe many more can benefit from them.

I have created you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You were created perfectly, flawlessly. You are not done. There is more to life than what you feel. You are not a mistake. You were planned by your Father in heaven. You are loved, desired, and purified.

I will provide for your every need. Sometimes, or often times, my provision does not look like what you want, but I always comes through. I have always had your best interest in mind. I know exactly what uou need and want, and I WILL give you the desires of your heart. Why? Because I love you, You are my child, my perfect creation. I saw you before you were even formed, and you were good.

I am and will always be by your side. I will never leave you or forsake you. You are my precious daughter in whom I am well pleased. Keep that always in mind. Know that I am proud of you when no one else says it. You are precious and cherished. You're perfect, fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am your refuge and your strength---your ever-present help in time of need. I will ALWAYS give you rest when you come to me with your burdens. You will hear and know my voice. I will lead you in ways you have not known. I wiill deliver you from things that stalk your family. My love for you is everlasting. If you search me, you will find me.

Child, you are mine. You've come so far. I am your light and your salvation. I am our king, your knight in shining armor. You are a shining jewel and you shine more for me each new day. Peace be with you. That means I am with you, and I never leave your side. I hold you when you cry and I cry for ou when you can't cry for yourself. You deserved protection and tender love. I tenderly love you with all of my heart. You are my treasure. You are perfect as you are, and I will continue to bring out more of your perfection. Love youself the way I made you. Let all of your brokeness and neediness be a testimony to others when you continue to stand depsite being knocked down hard. You are precious and innocent. You always were even when others tried to tarnish you. They left deep fingerprints, but they did not change who you are.

You are my precious child. In you I have found no fault. I see you through the blood of my Son. I see you as perfect and faultless. You are now spotless. Nothing can permanently mar you because I redeem it all. You are precious in my sight, and I honor you because youare honorable in my sight. I see you, and know, love, and adore you. You are soft and delicate as a flower. I show my glory through you, and will use your story mightily to bring honor to me. You are beautiful and timelss. You are beautiful and timeless. You have never lost the identity I placed in you. You are special and deserved to be valued, and treated as a gift. You are a treasure and I treasure you.
Let praise forever raise from your lips. Always remember that there is something to be grateful for. You were saved! You were bought! You are now priceless. Nothing and no one can buy you back. You are mine and I will be your whenever you allow me to be. Let your praises rise like incense. They bless me. Your heart is pure gold. It always has been. I protected it in me. See your heart as I have made it. It is a gift I have given you. Your love is pure. Your heart is mine and I will NEVER let it go. I will continue to wash it clean and massage it until it beats in step with mine again. I made you; I planned you. I desired for you to be a part of my plan. I've always had a special job prepared that only you are supposed to do. No one else is like you. No one else has the gifts I have placed in you. You have and special purpose and your gifts were meant especially for you. Every one is meant to glorify me, even the ones that seem pointless.
Keep walking and you will find me in every step. I am never hiding. Sometimes you close your eyes in fear of having to trust, but I am still there calling you. Even when you choose not to see me, I still choose to see and know you.
You are not damaged beyond repair. I am healing you, and I will continue to heal you as long as you choose to be humble. It is my kindness that leads you to repentance. Be grateful for that. I have placed a heart in you that desires truth. I have stirred you to seek me and you latch right on to my stirrings.
Trust. Trust in my perfect will for your life. It WILL be accomplished! It will and nothing can stop it. I know your dreams even the ones that you don't yet know. Those, even those, are in the blueprints for your life. I do not fail to complete what I begin. I will complete what I've begun in you, and it will bring glory to me in your family.
You are a rock. You are strong because I made you strong. Listen and know me. Know my heart. Know my ways.

You are finding your strength in me. Your stamina and foundation are in me. I am strong and I will never let you down. I am fully for you.
Peace be yours child, abundant peace. You are learning and growing in my love. You are being renewed with each day. You are discovering who I created you to be.
Press in and i will strengthen you for you are strong in my strength. Seek my face and you will know me. Seek me and I will give you rest. I will satisfy your hunger and thirst. I will provide for your every need.

Precious child of mine, you are holy. You are righteous. You are learning. You will fall and yet you will rise. Rise taller and stronger. Rise with your eyes brighter and your smile wider. Praise me from my glory does shine through you ever-increasingly. Look up and focus on my mind---my thoughts for you are always for your good. You have my pride. You have my ear and my heart. Stay strong. Stay on the Rock. You will not sway. You will not sway until you believe your mind over mine.

I have told you before. You remind me so much of my wife when she was your age. Just about the time we met, years before we got married. By her mid-thirties, she was on her way to becoming one of the most anointed worship leaders in the world. The Lord won't let me write much to you, because He is so jealous of you, that you listen only to Him. I have to pray carefully as I write. Some of these are almost word for word what God told her, as He rebuilt her after her divorce, and prepared her for a life of ministry. A couple jump out at me: "Precious ______," says you have your new name; most people never even suspect there is such a thing. "To dig myself out of a pit I usually turn to worship and writing." is so encouraging to see; it was the foundation of her entire future. The entire 12-3-11 entry is so rare for people to know Him that way. I added the last song she wrote before she died, you might enjoy it. I had to sing it as a demo. Well, I did receive a new name in a sense. I actually have two middle names, and I always say, "that's what happens when your parents can't agree on anything " My mom got my first name and my first middle name. My dad got my second middle name and my last name. All my life I really didn't like my name. It had no meaning to me other than my parents couldn't agree, and my dad didn't like to call me by it. For many years he called me Jordan because that's what he wanted to name me. My name always seemed to remind me of conflict. I searched all the time to see if my name had meaning other than the chaos it was created in. In middle school I actually changed my name. I went by Jo for several years because I just really didn't like my name.
However, years later, when I was about 23 I finally found the mean for all my names, and I really felt the Lord tell me that He named me. I was very blessed because I found out my name means "Down-flowing". That same day I actually found that not only did he give me my first name, my middle names actually had a profound meaning also. All in all, my full name means "Down-flowing from nobility, Gift of God."\
