Manna from God

After spending the last year coming into a deeper mire personal relationship of knowing who God is , I'd like to share some life changing experiences that occurred.
I grew up where food had to be fully stocked in the cabinets.. Monumental amounts of money , not to mention waste Wich occurred...in this past year , I found my hunger for such things disappeared... I went from fully stocked cabinets and a fridge that was completely full , to almost nothing in both...
I became so full in Gods word that I forgot I about eating ... Sometimes fasting two and three days without realizing .
felt no suffering in the body during this time,. I slept better and woke up easier, sometimes waking up praying out loud..

Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God"
I am here to tell you , God provides exactly as He promises ... He takes nothing away, but increases !
there is something about completely trusting God.. it makes the flesh very antsy ... Scared.. but when you give up the flesh and begin living in the promises of God ... it's unbelieveable!

Sister Michelle and what the Lord is teaching you is to understand how we in him go beyond ourself,beyond this scripture to the new commandment he gave us! ( John 13:34) For in self as you know there are always limits,in Christ Jesus there are no such limits!!( luke 1:37) To now love as Jesus loved us!!!! WOW!! To give as much grace and peace and rest to others as he gave us!!! A wow moment indeed!!I can even say that backwards sis!! LOl WOW!! You are so right! The way,the truth and the life,all found in Christ Jesus!( john 14:6) And there is no other way then through our Lord Jesus!! NO other truth and sure no other life!! Acts 4:12!! Blessing to you sis!

Thanks for sharing sister, i like your topic, manna from God and it draw my attention into your thread. Glad to hear that not only you enjoy Lord's word but also physically fasting , your testimonial encourage me to think about God and want to be closer to Him. I have 2 days haven't read bible till now. will read after posting this.

God has a way of drawing us back to him... when he wants our attention , He will move everything out of the way to get it .. boy did this ever happen to me.. Everything and I mean everything broke down ..nothing I was doing was working ... Its funny , I wish I could say I came to know Christ in elegance and grace... That I walked right in sat down like a lady.. Properly prepared , well versed, all knowing in scripture , church going etc... No, not quite how it happened for me ... I was more like ," hands and feet on Door frame , you cant make
Me go in..and I'll go in myself and when I'm ready!! Yes ma mam this was me.. , " I'll do it myself , thank you" , more like ,not right now but later... man was I stubborn and prideful.. ... I deserved every spanking I got!!! And hard ones ... I laugh about it now with God... and thank him for being such a wonderful father to me. Ladies, thank you for sharing...
