Mind, emotions and actions must be connected

My testimony for today is this:

Person, who tries to understand God and doctrines and apocalypse etc., and be teologically "correct" christian in all ways, can cause himself a terrible headache in the end. More you try to understand, more you feel angry. If you don't.

So, in order to feel good about life and future, you need to find right mindset and emotion rather than too much understanding. But, I have found a secret formula that works (.....;-). I call it simplified more practical christianity. Let me describe it in powerpoint style. It is like a set of statements.

1. Nature of God is love, joy, grace and continous creation. All that has ever happened or will happen trough Him, reflects this nature of His. Life and saving work of Jesus also reflected this.
2. If somebody understands apocalypse, that's fine. If you don't understand, that's fine too.
3. Evil exist in the world partly because of free will and sin, partly because of reasons we cannot currently undestand. Because we can't, we can't.
4. Family and marriage is God's plan, so if you are simple and stupid like me, stick with your spouse anyway.
5. Try to find a way to make friends and collaborates in order to be happy and successful. Read Dale Carnagie's How to make friends and have influence.
6. Everybody has a divine dna, so best way to to get results sometimes is that you encourage that person to use his dne in life better than before and then you can add some gospel salt.
7. Try to help people sometimes.

So, I believe this formula works quite nice.
