First of all I thank God for Christian Chat, a chance to honour God in public, and let more people know of how awesome He is!
I go to Bible college in the Netherlands, and in my first year I had a burden to pray for the village we live in. I was desperate for more of God. And from the first prayer meeting I said I want to meet every night.
But by myself and others I was persuaded this was too much. So we met once every couple weeks or so. And it was a challenge at times.
In the second year it was increased to once a day Monday to Friday. Sometimes it would just be me there (and God, angels, the cloud of witnesses), but it continued. And then one lady joined, and another couple. It was still a challenge for me, I was trying to fight God's fight for Him. By trying to persuade people to come with my own words. It didn't work.
A few weeks ago, there came a release, and the meeting was handed over to God. Seeing as He's better at everything!!!!
And praise God, 2 more people have been coming regularly. There's now a real sense that God will draw people Himself, and as they hear testimonies about Jesus appearing to one man and woman in the group in their dreams, and other such amazing things God's doing! The excitement of being with God will overtake them, and they'll come! Even if they didn't, still it's so wonderful what He's doing!
This last week, I can't explain how or why, but there's such an increased sense of God's presence, and His work. It's so exciting, I so so look forward to meetings now, whereas they honestly sometimes used to feel like a duty!
As I type I remember I felt led to show this video of Heidi Baker last week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlNJbCum6LY, and I don't believe it's a coincidence, one man has also seen babies praying in his dreams since than. wow!
And I want to publically say thank You Lord! Thank You, thank You, thank You. You are amazing! And this is just the beginning
