Well this isn't much of a testimony, more or less just how God brought together a group of people, that formed a worship team, and now go out and testify through our music and preaching of the life saving power and love of Jesus Christ. I am Androidpowered (username), also the drummer and preacher of this worship team that came together. It started with an urge in my heart to take the word of God out of the four walls that we call "church". It became such a burden in my heart to go out and tell others of the love of Christ that I got together with a couple of singers from the church band and asked them if they would come along with me to go minister to people outside of the church. They of course said yes, but we were without a pianist, a guitarist, and a bass player. So I felt the need to pray for these positions to be filled with musicians that wouldn't just play to play, but that would play to really please and bless God above anything else. That their playing would be out of a sincere interest to praise and worship God. And just like that all of a sudden a new guy starts coming to church, he was an amazing guitarist but most of all with a huge desire to worship, and in my mind I wondered is this our guitarist? And without me even telling him he came up to me and asked if I would ever go out and play outside of church, and in that moment i knew and I told him the plans God had set in my heart and to that he revealed to me that two of his good friends were a pianist and a bassist with the same desire to worship. We eventually met up and prayed about it but we never got one of those "God told us" answers. Instead what happened was that withing two weeks a church contacted me and said they were have a youth convention and wanted to know if I could get a group together to play. Of course I said yes. and from there it's history and we go out and play in parks and on the streets acoustically and I preach to the people out there. And we've had the pleasure and honor of really being used by God to touch people's hearts and change their lives. and we can only pray that God keeps using us in that way.
