A few weeks ago, after many years of discouragement being burdened by many things concerning my home, I cried out to the Lord saying, “Lord, I no longer want this burden upon my life. I no longer want this care. I no longer want to be anxious about what I should do with my home. Lord, I offer it up to you and give it to you. It is now your house and no longer a concern of mine.”
Shortly after this took place, I was visited by a man of God. God used him to speak to me and told me many things. Of those things, he mentioned that God had given me a special gift and anointing concerning protection. He told me that I had a special protection upon me and that God would use me to bring about protection upon others. He said that I had special angels surrounding me; fierce and powerful warrior angels. None of this came as a surprise to me as I knew it already in my heart but just had not come aware of it within my mind until I heard the words.
Last night, I received a text from a dear friend and sister in Christ who knew nothing of the things that had been said to me. The text said, “Sleep with the angels....good night”. Upon receiving that I immediately spoke to the angels and told them to stay close to me and watch over me; be watchful.
This morning, I was sitting in my living room doing paperwork and sending out bills. I heard the mail carrier deliver the mail so I stepped out of the front door onto my porch to get the mail. I saw a police car parked at the end of my driveway. As I was wondering what it was doing there, I saw people walking down my driveway. I immediately went to see who it was.
Two police officers were walking with a young man down the driveway and I asked them what was going on. They asked if I lived here and after telling them that I owned the home and lived here they asked for identification. They asked me if I knew the young man and I said no. I told them I had never seen him before or the car. They immediately began to arrest him. I had no idea what was going on.
The one officer came into the house to talk to me and told me that the alarm company had called them to notify them that someone was trying to break into my house and that my alarm system was going off. The police were baffled as they called the alarm company to confirm the information after I informed them, “I don’t have an alarm system.” Still perplexed, the officer said that she could not explain what happened and how the alarm company had called them and that they were able to catch this guy. I said, “Well, I cannot explain it either except that it must have been God protecting me.” At that, she turned towards me and looked at me and said, “Then you are truly blessed.”
Within a half hour, they caught the other young man that had fled the car when they arrived and had the car towed out of my driveway.
