Hey everyone, today I would like to share with you guys my experience in hinduism's idolatry and became a christian. I have wrote a little about this in my intro, but this is the "full version". So since the day I was born, I was born as a christian because my dad is one. Although my dad is a christian, he is not that religous. For example , during the christmas eve, he would say he would take us to church at midnight, but when we reach the church, there will always be one reason(eg, car park full, too crowded) that he would use to make a u-turn. But I wouldnt blame him completly, my mom in the other hand is a Hindu. She would encourage my bro and I to practice both christianity and hinduism. But because of my dad's non-religous"ness", there was any christian knowledge in us. So there was more hinduism in us compared to christianity that time. But however this was soon about to change.

Being a young boy being raised as a hindu i was though to believe everything in hindu was holy. From the day I was born, there was many challenges that I had to face. I was a prematured baby, then I had fitz, then at the age of 7 I had some decay on my baby tooth. But thankfully Jesus helped me out. So with so much of stuff that I have gone through, my mom began seeing fortune tellers, I am not really sure what those scumbags said but ya. Then, there was this thing in hinduism where humans give to their "gods" to adopt their child. And as bizzare that sounds, I was involved in it cuz of my mom strong hindu beliefs, and plus my dad did'nt say a thing againsts that decision.

I was 8 years old when they took me took me the hindu temple, so this is actually how it works, my real parents were suppost give me to their "god" and also there must be an adopted family(which was my late aunties family) to adopt me aswell. If your confused, its okay because I still have no idea how does that work. Okay, so then with all this, the hindus believe that once thats done, the child is now god's childs =,= and that now the child would have protection and stuff ==

Ok so I did not had any fever or syndromes but I am sure this was all cured way before that adoption thing, but my mom again she believed it was their "god". So most weekends, she would take my bro and I to the temple, and to be quite honest, the hindu "gods" don't look anything like gods, they look very violent with their "vampire" like teeth and also illustration on the wall showing the "god" holding a head of a person.

My Mom usually says she has dreams about the "god" coming into her dream, whenever she sees this dream, she would take me to the temple .

Ok once my auntie's daughter got posessed, because she is a medical student, once she was disecting a rabbit, it was said that the rabbit was the hindu "gods" pet. Because of that she got possessed, and one time when she was possessed, I was in the room and my bro and I heard the sound of her screaming. A few seconds before that happened, I was actually calling her name then suddenly she shouted like an evil spirit, and you have no idea how I felt >.<. And she said when that happened, she was in no control of her body instead she was hallucinating about she was in a trip in meeting a priest. which I am guessing its a form of astral projection. So I am not sure if she was lying or not but after that , her family and her went to India to see that priest, and then they also bought 2 rabbits as a replacement. Thinking about it right Now, it doesn't make any sense, if that was to be God, he would'nt hurt/harm his children as we know he loves us all very much.

Okay a year before all that happened my brother went on a trip to my christian cousin's house, and he started following their footsteps by going to the church and all . And that time , it hit him , making him to realise which is the real religion, he started to think about the violence of the hindu "gods" and beganing to realise that a true god is nothing like that and thats when he became a real christian.

Then forward to a year later , it was holidays, one of my christian cousin was with my bro, and they started advising me about all this as well. And luckily I listened to that advise and became a christian myself. And when I chose to accept their adivise, there was this feeling of peace that I felt in my heart.

Even until now, mom wants me to be a hindu, every morning she would ask me to pray to the idol in the alter, but what I would always do is first I would go to a cornor and pray to Jesus, then I will go to the alter and pretend to pray and if she is not there, I wouldnt even bother going near the alter :)

my bro and I tried to bring her to christianity once, but she woudlnt listen instead she will even greatly about hinduism.

Anyways tats my christian story, may god bless all of you . <3 jesus christ

Wow! What a testimony! As for living the double life, do not be afraid of what you parents will do to you, instead of follow God. Cease giving into your mother wanting you to follow Hinduism and worship one of the Hindu gods. When she asks you to bow before the Hindu god, do not bow to it like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego who when Nebuchadnezzar told them to bow before the idol, refused to bow down to it. Let God continue to guide you on the righteous path you have taken. I will leave you with two verses, I hope that these encourage and remind to only worship God in your walk with Christ. God bless and here they are:

Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

2 Kings 17:35
When the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites, he commanded them: "Do not worship any other gods or bow down to them, serve them or sacrifice to them. But the LORD, who brought out of Egypt with mighty power and outstretched arm, is the one you must worship."

Great testimony. It is not easy to turn one's back on Hinduism. I have seen the signs and wonders of the Hindu gods myself. Of course these signs are wonders are done by the demonic to lead people away from the truth that could set them free.

Than you for posting it and God bless you.
