I had been addicted to porn for a long time. And I must have tried to quit at least 50 times or so lol. Well a few days ago I fell to my knees and begged Jesus to take away the addiction I couldn't go a day without watching a lot of porn and I was always thing about it.well anyways after that I fell asleep and I seriously don't even think I've even thought about porn or sex at all since then!! Like this day after this I was thinking i wonder why I don't have the craving to watch porn like usual. Because I didn't believe then that Jesus would even help me. Then day two I remembered asking Jesus to help me then I said. Thanks Jesus you da man . Until this day I still have not watched porn or even thought about it.

Congrats man you have done a thing that many people including myself find the hardest thing in the world to do... I am not talking about the pornography Yah it is good you quit watching it. I am talking about putting all your faith, trust, and love in Jesus...

Good on you man...

I fell away many years ago, and since I've been online I pretty much watched porn at least once a day. After God brought me back and quickened in my heart, I lost all interest in viewing it. As a result, my marriage has been better too.

Good for you. Your addiction was a temptation but the prayers helped you to free yourself by this. I'll pray you won't fall again.

When you begin to focus on Jesus and take your eyes off of your flesh, the desires of the flesh have no power over you. Your flesh has been crucified with Christ, you can reign over everything when you realize this!

I agree. Most people believe its just an addiction for men... its not. One look and you are hooked. I am a girl and I hated myself for it but I couldn't quit. This gives me hope. Our GOD is forgiving and he loves us. His blood is stronger than any sin that we put upon our souls..... I love him

That is the same for me, except my addiction was alcohol. One night just before I went to bed, I put my drink down and said the lamest prayer ever. "Lord, help me to stop drinking"--That was it. The next I came home from work and opened a beer, as usual but something was different and I drank a third or less my normal for the evening. The second day the same thing happened. The third day I came home and dumped it down the drain and was done.

I recalled walking thru the alcohol section at the supermarket and thanking God I was free. It felt really amazing. It was a total miracle.

Thats good,it realy gives me hope for my husbands gambleing and alcohal addictions i will continue to pray for him,7 yrs ago god took cigerette addiction from me.

I have fallen into the porn addiction, and I've been masturbating for years. And reading some of yours reply's. I'm starting the process of removing them away from my life and I know I'm not alone in it.
