Wow. I am amazed at the way that God opens doors for us to share our testimony with others. You never know when the opportunity will come up, so you always have to be ready to share the reason of the hope that is in you.

In a two day period, on job interviews I was able to share my testimony. With me being a convicted felon, I knew that I would have to explain myself in a small matter when on job interviews, but these two allowed me to share what happened to me, what I did in prison, and what God has on my heart to do here in the near future. I was able to share about the Work God has done in my heart. They were very interested in what I was doing now in regards to Church and keeping the faith.

The first job opportunity never panned out and I didn't get a call back. I know that seeds were planted in the man and woman's heart, so it's all good. The second job opportunity landed me a job. My honesty and openness touched him and he was willing to give me a chance and to help me out.

He started me out as a dishwasher at a bit over minimum wage. After 3 days, I was promoted to Salad and Desert Cook. God allowed me to find favor with him for the job and the promotion. My light has been shinning.

Then on the job, one of the ladies and I was talking and I was telling her about the Church I go do and worship, she told me that she could see it all over me so I didn't have to tell her I was a Christian. Now that was an encouraging word. That is how I want my life to be, I don't want to have to go around and tell people, "Hey, look at me I'm a Christian" I want that light to shine and proclaim it for me.

Awesome to hear, sir!

As far as the last paragraph though, I do think it is important to tell others. It is important to live it also of course, but even if they can tell you are a Christian, they still may not face the reality that they are loved and forgiven. I think it is easy for an unsaved person to just assume a believer is happy because they are enthusiastic about going to church, and not realize they have the true peace and fulfillment that comes from a relationship with Jesus.

Also few things show love better than doing something socially inconvenient, to share what you have with others.

Great work of God..!

And as you said.. People have to say, by seeing us tat we are Christians.. We have to reflect Christ in our lives.

As Bible says.. By seeing the fruit, we can know the type of a tree. We have to be a Good tree which bears Good fruit.

Thanks again for sharing your testimony. May God do amazing works in your life. Keep sharing. That will energize others also. Be blessed.
