I am 15 and have dealt with a lot of abuse from my family, maily parents. I wont go into it but it was very physical, bruises welts broken arm once, the system is so broken me and my sis (AprilAngel) kept getting shoved back into the house she got out before I did cause shes older but what really helped me survive is staying in my bible. my parents are athiests and my sis helped me learn about God. I committed my soul to God a yr ago but have trusted in Him since i was like 10. I'm still learning alot of te bible and of God but i know its only because of Him that i'm still alive.

trust in Him and you will be fine

This is the most fascinating testimony I've ever read. You are 15 and you learn about God through your sister and not your parents. What a strong faith you and your sister have! I'm so blessed reading this encouraging testimony. I keep you and your family in my prayers! God is a great God, He will help you in time!

"For nothing is impossible with God." -Luke 1:37

God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow (Hebrews 13:8). He is still the God who opened Sarah's womb so that she conceived and gave birth to Isaac on 90 years of age (Genesis 21:2). He is the God who opened the Red Sea and let Israelites crossed it (Exodus 14:21-22). He is the God who made the sun stand still as Joshua prayed so that Israel would defeat the Amorites on that very day (Joshua 10:12-13). He is the God who made Gideon defeated the Midianites and Amalekites and all the children of east which was so great in their numbers as the sand by the seaside with merely 300 men (Judges 7). He is the God who make virgin Mary conceived and gave birth to Jesus Christ, the Saviour or the world. He is the God who made the blind sees, the lame walks, the deaf hears, the mute speaks, the sick heals, the weak strengthens, the fearful to become courageous. God did so many miracles in the past and He still does miracles every day in our lives, in ur life and ur family...

im pray for u ...

be blessing

See you got the right attitude. I can already tell that you will have a bright future if you keep that up. Those that believe that good will come simply will have good come to them. Power of believing is nothing new. Its so simple yet a lost belief in this world. Additionally, you are better prepared to take a positive position when an unexpected event occurs. One of my favorite quotes since I was young is this: Life is 10% what happens, 90% what you make of it. Simply put, life is how you perceive it- it really is. Gratz on starting a new life hopefully filled with happiness.

It's true, God, through the faith, helps us to overcome the worst of the abuse. It's fantastic: you have been so bold in your life.
