Sister,
I see that you have the Holy Spirit in you. "Even the Spirit of Truth I send to you". The scriptures are unlocked to you as they were to me. I read the Bible in vain as a youth also and followed a pattern like yours. After I prayed for the Truth from God himself from the depths of my heart, then was I saved like you.
You will receive Truths very quickly from the father. Last night I received a dream in which it was revealed to me that the hour of this World is late. Very very very late. The Holy Spirit will tell you what to do. He has already worked inside you.

I'm also pretty nervous about sharing this for the fear of being judged, but that's expected from people!
Jesus died so that you can testify. He didn't feel ashamed to die for us.Do not look at others. If you are criticized,God will make another place to testify with a bigger audience. And if some one's words of correction is good for correcting yourselves rather than hurting you, then please listen to it.Do not be afraid, not all will criticize.
Isaiah 41 : 10 KJV.
God Bless:)

"You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.- Jeremiah 29:13"

Hello! My name is Sophia, and I'm 20. I want to tell people about what happened to me since it has changed me and my life, and I also want to share the things God has done for me (but that will be in a different post). I told my parents about what happened, but they didn't take me seriously, so I'm hoping people here will! I believed in God all my life, as well as believing Jesus is the Son of God, and I used to be really close to Him, but as I grew older I didn't care as much, or didn't take my relationship with God seriously, so I drifted away.

want your old self or life back. You will know it, when you feel it. If you think you met God or Jesus and it didn't change you, then you didn't meet God or Jesus, because when you meet/feel them, it will change you. I don't suffer from anxiety or depersonalization disorder anymore. I also don't feel the emptiness that used to be there, but instead I feel complete, and happy. Too happy
:) Never before in my life has God answered my prayers so many times. It's all about faith. He is faithful. "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. - Matt 7:7"

"Then you will know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. -John 8:32"
It has definitely set me free! This is my testimony :)If you have a testimony, I'd love to hear it!
You just got visited by God.Wait upon the Lord and you will get the Full Anointing of Holy Spirit.(He will lead you to it,as long as you follow Him.And if He visited you then He will not fail to bless you more.God has called you for some Ministry). And you will speak in tongues that you are unaware of and it will edify your inner person(soul). You will be speaking to God directly then and Holy Spirit will intercede for your better when you speak in unknown tongues. The experience that you now have is the True Salvation. That's why you have this thirst to know God more and do Godly things. The high level of positive Joyful Energy flowing through your body is without any doubt God's Love,Holy Spirit. When you get the full Anointing of holy Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongues, you will realize the unlimited Love with which God Loves us.It will make your Faith in God more Bold, stronger.
There might come situations in your life where you might feel the absence of God.Do not worry then.Just move on then. And even if you feel abandoned then(if you go through that),God wil restore you to show that He is still in control:)
God is Love,Taste and See that Lord is Good.
And Be Bold Like This To Speak Out things,So Many Can follow God.People are basically interested in worldly things. But in the midst are many looking for Light.May Your Words Shine The Light For Them.
God Bless:)

you are wrong. She has the Holy Spirit in her. Remember, Nothing goes up to heaven but what comes down from heaven. If what you say is true she isn't saved. If the Spirit wasn't there she would still be crying out to the Lord for salvation, but instead, She is testifying that she has it. Furthermore, the scriptures are open to her and she is revealing them with all truth. Don't try to tie a burden onto her. Tie that same burden to yourself.
Peace be unto you brother !!!! What makes me wrong ? i agreed what the op was saying, i was just telling her what exactly she experienced, in fact, I was so blessed with her testimony.

Of course she received the Holy Spirit since the Holy Spirit was the one who draw her closer to the Presence of Jesus Christ. Without the Holy Spirit , it's impossible for us to the understand the things of God.

But you must understand that receiving the Holy Spirit and be in the Holy Spirit were so different thing, just like drinking with water and BE IN THE WATER were different too. When you get baptized by the Holy Spirit is like floating in the river.
"The Presence of God stills the soul ,while the power of God erupts the soul", do you understand this?. If NOT then pls study the Bible a little further....ok God bless you.

She has the Holy spirit in her and she knows it. The spirit will not leave her. She doesn't need the Father to send her the Holy Spirit. You told her to pray so that she can receive and thereby you discredit her testimony that she gave us. That is why I rebuked your post. Peace to you just the same in the name of Jesus.

Discredit ? you misunderstood me. I wasn't discrediting her story,in fact, i was encouraging her to know God more. You don't understand when someone gets baptized with the Holy Ghost . Well, this is hard for you to understand especially things you know nothing of. You should know also the work of the Trinity, you can't separate them. Ask the Holy Spirit to have the knowledge of God though prayer and daily devotion.

Can I ask you question if u don't mind? How long have you been serving God since you got saved? are you a new convert?

God bless !!!

@sophia1993 I have depersonalization from an anxiety attack from weed in November of last year. God helped me turn my life around and I have felt the Holy Spirit a few times and I'v been praying and reading the bible, asking God to make me on fire for Him and take all this away, and I want to love God. But it's hard when I don't feel that. Am I seeking the gifts and not the Giver?

I went to church with Grandma when I was around 11 but I didn't know God.When I went to junior high school,I didn't go to church anymore.
I had no God throughout my high school years.I had anxiety disorder and social phobia during those years.I was very depressed and scared in senior high school.Everyday was like a torment to me.I felt I was a total loser and I even thought I might get a disease someday and die. Then I went to college,I had insomnia and anxiety still torment me,I felt very gloomy thinking about future and I had been addicted to computer games for 4 years.
Then finally I turned to God for help,it was not long ago.:)I quitted games and wanted to live a meaningful life.It was not hard at all for my heart now is filled with God.But I still feel anxious and afraid sometimes and I still have insomnia once in a week, but I am praying for help and there's hope that I might be cured someday.I thank our heavenly Father. He's my only hope:)
But sadly I still feel my faith is too little,I am suspicious and I feel insecure, always want a strong proof that remove my doubt once for all.I thought God had touched my head last Saturday when I was praying in the church but soon I began to doubt it was not real.:(I hope God have forgiven me for that.

Beautiful testimony.
I have a question about " I'm not worthy of standing before our Savior and Creator." When we accept Christ we are in Christ. We are covered by Jesus righteousness.

Hebrews 4; 14-16 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens —Jesus the Son of God—let us hold fast to the confession. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tested in every way as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

None of us are "worthy of standing before God" on our own accord with out Jesus.
