I am a Christian. I was born again and Spirit filled in 1997 when I prayed to God to rescue me and send me the Truth.
The testimony I am posting about now is from yesterday morning.
I had a dream. In this dream I was at my uncles house. I was waiting for him to come home I planned to go hunting with him the next day. When I was waiting for him I woke up and it was dark in the house and he still wasn't there. I got up and could hear a noise that sounded like someone calling out from outside. It was a deep worrying sound like someone yelling for help in the distance. It kept going over and over every few seconds. It entered my mind that it was my uncle outside and he needed help. I thought maybe he was in a car accident, (he lives in a wooded rural area where you can hear long distances). So I went upstairs and the lights were on up there. I saw a cat sitting on the couch and I thought for a second he made the noise. Then I realized that wasn't possible so I rushed outside. It was almost dark. At this point I wasn't worrying about my uncle or the noise I heard. I was only concerned with the dark. I strained hard and could only see a tiny tiny bit of daylight left. It scared me badly. I new that when it got completely dark there was no time left. That was the first part of the dream.
Then I looked around and I was in a restaurant. It was a Mom and Pop style normal sit down restaurant. There were a couple of girls who worked there that were cleaning up for closing time. It was around four or five minutes to 10:00. I was talking with them as they cleaned and told them how everybody I used to work with at restaurants couldn't wait for closing. I said we had to stay open to new customers till the last minute right up to close and all the other workers didn't like it. They couldn't wait to get off work. The workers didn't pay much attention to me talking but were focused on locking up. Then we all went outside and the girls were still talking and going straight to their cars. I looked back at the restaurant and thought, "now it's closed"
Then right in front of me in the sky I saw something that looked like a menu and I heard a voice telling me something in a sentence or two. The menu had centered writing on it and was laminated. On top I think it might have repeated what the voice told me. Then the pages of the menu turned. I think it had three or more pages. It turned too fast for me to read it. What I could discern was that there were names and places of safety on the menu maybe more stuff. I think I was allowed to make maybe some of my own choices off it. I can't remember what the voice said either. There was a McDonald's sign behind the menu about fifty away but really everything around me at that point in the dream was very fuzzy and uncertain. My focus was on the menu.
A huge rush of emotions hit me. I could feel that it was the real end. Then I woke up.
