Hello CC.

I joined CC last year during a rough period for me and my wife. Basically, there was a situation that happened that left me confused and angry and I needed prayer and answers. Let me explain. My wife had just finished dental school, and before she can actually practice dentistry, she has to pass what is called a regional boards exam. Students cannot obtain a liscense to practice without passing one of the four regional exams. These regional board exam cost thousands of dollars to take. These exams consists of a series of test, that includes utilizing patients. Students have to fly to the testing locations if it is not nearby. In many cases, students have to pay patients to utilize during the exam ( this includes flight, hotel, and food arrangements for patients). For each regional exam, you only get a certain number of tries to pass everything, and if you do not pass after three..sometimes two tries, you have to take the entire exam over again. In some cases, you have to wait a complete year before you can attempt it again. This regional board exam was a big obstacle for my wife, she failed several times, and it was really getting us down. We do not have a lot of money, and it was becoming a very stressful situation for us.

There was many times we both thought that maybe, this was not for her. We did not understand why God would bless her to get into dental school, pass all four years, and for her to continually fail regional boards at the end. Meaning= she could not work as a dentist even though she passed all four years of dental school. Last year there was another attempt at an exam. We prayed, fasted, and everything.. When we got the scores she failed one part of the exam. We were both distraught and really started feeling like we were abandoned by God. I searched for answers..which led me to this site. I asked for prayers and insight on this issue, since it seemed as if there was a "giant" in our way. We scheduled to take another exam for April 2014. As the time got closer to this date, the more nervous we both became. I asked God to give us the strength to "slay this giant". In addition to this, I asked several people to join me in prayer for this particular test (I did not do this previously for her other attempts)

I am here to testify that we got her test results this pass Tues, AND SHE PASSED.HALLELUJAH!!!! I know many may not understand the big deal with this situation, but this was a burden for us. It felt has if a 600 lb gorilla was lifted off our backs! God helped us defeat this giant that was in the way of her destiny. There is some lesson learned that I want to share.

1. Just because you encounter defeat in a certain area, that does not mean you should totally give up on it. Sometimes the devil wants to hinder and discourage believers from having great testimonies, and achieving goals in their life.
2. When you realize the enemy is trying to hinder you in a particular area, have others join you in prayer for this particular issue. The bible says the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous man availeth much. Sometime when we encounter defeat multiple times are faith maybe damaged and we may need others to join us in prayer to move mountains in our way.

I hope this testimony blesses someone who is encounter defeat in a certain area of their life, and they may feel like giving up. GOD DID NOT BRING YOU THIS FAR TO LEAVE YOU..IT SHALL COME TO PASS

What to learn from victory! All victory starts in a renewed mind!( col 3:2) Sin starts in the same place brother. What we dwell on is what we become, and what we become leads us to our belief.( phil 4:8 for example) We all have to start somewhere bro!!I like you, started here!( mark 9:23-24!)

I believe, help thou my unbelief! Jesus did that! As he has done and will continue to do with you,IF!!! we learn how to be and stay faithful!!( luke 16:10) I share your joy bro, even as I shared your suffering! When we start out in prayer we pray to believe,as Jesus teaches us more and more through Holy Spirit. ( 1 john 2:27) we learn from him how to pray from belief!! The difference is we learn we are not moving to victory brother,we move from it!!( rom 8:37!!) Stay in the word, learn to speak his words not your own,you will soon understand how and why victory is always established through our Blessed Jesus!

The more Word we move from the book to our hearts the more confidence we not only have, but can now give to others!Just like his love!!( john 13:34!) A disciple learns to abide in his words, for it is by his very words we are established! Hosea 4:6 says my people are destroyed for there lack of knowledge, knowledge of his abiding words, that rest in us always to become established in his very peace!

So that joy is rendered, always!! ( rom 15:13)Hope is expectation of good, not bad! No matter what others say, no matter what things appear as! ( 2 cor 4:16-18!!) For what we see, changes to what we truly believe through our Jesus! And then it become as Jesus is!! Eternal! Just like our life in his! Thanks bro, and May the love of Jesus always abide both in your words, and in your deeds!! amen!
