in 2000 I was driving from Vernon B.C. to Kamploops when a man came out of the ditch and stuck out His thumb I picked Him up and for the next hour this Man told me things about my life such as the abuse I sufferred growing up where my boys were born He even new I was going to see a single mom. As He got out of my truck He turned to me and said Whoa to you who makes one of my little ones sin, better for you to cast yourself into the sea with a millstone around your neck and He just kinda disappeared. I went on to help this sufferring addict make it through her hard time and went home, it wasn't until I was talking to my girlfriend about this experience that it hit me that this Man shouldn't have known these things. I was molested in and out of my family home for 10 years and was abused by a catholic preacher when I was 8, at this point I turned my back on God and anyone who did. This was 1970 for the next 30 years I lived a life without God was alcoholic and drug addicted from the age of 10 I went in and out of prison from 1975 until 1992. This hitch Hiker whom I call Jesus changed my thinking about God and have been a Christian since 2000. Today I am clean and sober only by the Grace Mercy and Forgivenes I was so freely given. I give back to my community and the needy as often as possible rather than taking from everyone. I owe it all to God and the Cleansing Blood of Jesus. Most recently on November third God healed me from one herniated and three bulging discs which had been suffering with for over 15 months all the Glory goes to HIM
