There are many ways one can say as to how God himself speaks to us,but for most part to me is his inner witness inside us! I remember a brother who had a rattletrap car,and a brother told him,to give the car away and the Lord would get him a better one! He gave the car away, and walked the rest of the year!

The reason being he listened to someone else, rather then the Lord inside him! The Lord will lay upon your heart what to do,and!!!! when to do it! Some people receive a word from the Lord in another, and run right out to do it! And they miss it!

The Lord will always prepare the heart first,to get you into praying about it!( eph 6:18!!) As you consider, you are using the faith God gave you to both ask him, and expect him to respond back to you! How long you are willing to wait, gives more time for the answer you receive to be the correct answer!

Because!!( heb 11:6 take operation in ones own life!) If we do not shame our pride,God will do it! And believe me i know for a fact I would rather shame it!! I was talking to another about this just yesterday, and he did not get it! But he will get it!!Just like i got it! And i am sure many of you have got it as well!

If we come to point out fault to another who speaks to you the truth, you will come to know it, one way or another! Either we put our pride to shame or God will! And i can tell you, being led by God is much better then to be corrected by God!! LOL

So give place to Holy Spirit in you! Many years ago back when I was in Vietnam,3 soldiers got lost in the jungle, they had been missing for three days, when they were found, they were all found under a tree just sitting there! The Commander said "they died of shame! For they were not willing to seek, nor were they ready to act! There fear held them hostage! And from such bondage one can die as well".

Jesus speaks much to our heart, but so many have hardened there heart to his voice, they no longer can hear him!( Please read all of mark 6:30-52!!!) verse 52 for they had not gained any insight from the incident of the loaves but there heart was hardened! Speaking of this again in mark 8:17-21) A hard heart stops the flow of living water to you and to others!( john 7:38!!)

Let not pride hardened your hearts any longer! Be led by Holy Spirit!! ( rom 8:14-15!!) You will be far happier, and will mature much faster if you take heed to something i had to learn the hard way! I am thankful I did learn, but at a cost both of my time, and service!

There is, in the spirit world, a time and season for all things pertaining to you! ( Ecclesiastes 3:1) Taking that time in ones own life, places you in the forefront of conquering!( rom 8:37!!) So we are always ready in Christ, where we always need to be in him! Safe, secure, and established through his Word,by both his faith, and our believing in his faith! May the Lord continue to show you, to both confirm his words in me, and to you. amen!( psalm 27:13!!) Prayer is far more important and needed in every life then you can ever imagine!!!! ( eph 6:18!!!!-20!!) Blessing all!

I think the last four years of my life have been the most amazing to date. Why? Because I have started listening to God and obeying the prompts He has given me.

I have learned to pray for those around me. An old man yelled at me because he didn't like the way I parked the car my first instinct was to yell something snide back to him but as he continued to yell at me I started to think maybe this man does not have anyone to pray for him so I started to say a prayer for him when I would think about the situation and a few prayers have gone up for him.

I ended up back in church listening to the prompting of God. I feel closer to Him when I go and share faith with fellow believers and chat here on CC.

Prompted to give Bibles to children and others. In at least one case I know the Bible was used and loved from the moment the recipient got it and their walk in Christ has improved. For the children I may have to wait and see the results of that prompting as they were foster children and the Bibles were Christmas gifts, but I know that it is said you can't put out God's word and it come back void.

Listening to God has solved family disputes and it was in prayer not by my actions as my actions had failed it was when I surrendered the family member to God that forgiveness and healing began.

Listening and obeying God has helped in my own personal life to overcome sin that has been a part of my life for many years and I can never repay God for the gratitude I feel in knowing He has helped and saved me.

So everyday I ask that I hear God's voice and act in faith on what He prompts me to do and I am seeing God work not only in my life but in the lives of others. It is a beautiful partnership and one I want to hang onto for the rest of my life.
