In India, we have just had a spate of Indian festivals. The festive season starts around September and ends in November.
So we have to go through three months of noise, crowds, loud music, dancing, revelry and idols everywhere.
Come December, and you begin to hear Jim Reeves and other Christmas Carols in Christian Homes. The weather becomes pleasant and peaceful.
Christmas trees are not up until a couple days before Christmas.
This year, I will probably not be putting up a Christmas tree (which I do every year) because I have three cats in the house.
The youngest one is getting bigger and stronger and wilder. Let's see how it goes.
