“We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

……They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.”

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:3, 9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.

He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.

This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭1:7-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

He called you to this through the gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.”

‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭2:10-17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.

But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet. For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”

‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:2-5, 8-11‬ ‭NIV‬

It isnt really fair to say this verse segregated from others

“For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

or this verse

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

is what Paul’s actually teaching believers or really offer any understanding or acceptance of what Paul the apostle taught

Consider Paul's letters as a letter written by an apostle to a group of true believers in Jesus and take them page at time rather than verse at time

He is really an amazing teacher and revelator about so many subjects whether you really want to understand baptism , faith , grace

he also “ coined” many common terms we use yet we try to interpret what he means ourself rather than read and consider what he said and try to let him tell
Us what we should believe because he truly is an apostle of Jesus Christ

Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's: grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1:1-3‬
