As a child, I always love to say the following prayer each night.

Now I lay me down to sleep.
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.

This would be followed by a list off loved ones to be blessed beginning with Mama and Daddy.
