†. Luke 11:31 . .The queen of the south will be raised up in the judgment
with the men of this generation and will condemn them; because she came
from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, but, look!
Something more than Solomon is here.
As bright as Solomon was, his wisdom was incomplete. His understanding of
death and the hereafter was limited to the understanding that all men
"under the sun" understand; viz: human beings die like animals and that's
that. But Christ's wisdom was boundless: his understanding of all things far
exceeded Solomon's.
†. John 3:34-35 . . For he is sent by God. He speaks God's words; for God's
Spirit is upon him without measure or limit.
†. Col 2:3 . . In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
†. Col 2:9 . . It is in him that all the fullness of the divine quality dwells
bodily.
Bottom line is: Jesus Christ, the man from heaven, says that there are
people in conscious existence on the other side of death; while Solomon, a
man of the earth, said otherwise. You have to make a decision. Which man
are you going to listen to? The man of heaven or the man of the earth?
Choose correctly or it's very likely the queen of the south will condemn you
too.
†. John 3:31 . . He who comes from above is above all; the one who is from
the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. The one
who comes from heaven is above all.
