People asked for it for a long time, so bless 'em for being patient and persistent. I don't have any gripes with the "Likes", although I would prefer an opt out feature in the user's control panel (similar to the "enable/disable Rep function). Getting notifications for my posts being liked is redundant, and I'm impartial to them anyway.

Btw, nice job on the new rooms, Mods!

I think, along with that, that if you get enough "likes" you should gain rep points... because I think that with the new like buttons, people will stop giving others reputation.

The reason I "liked" your comment was because I agreed, Jeff; not because it's fun to like the posts of a guy who didn't want the "like" button :). Which it is, BTW :D

I think it will be better for people to gain reputation power from likes and not reputation points. Coz the like button is not moderated unlike the rep button and there are no limits to it. It would be crazy having people gain reputation for sarcasm and funny comments. God bless

Mr. Khatru..........I am very sorry to inform you that Snackers just made a mental note to "like" as many of your posts as possible :(.

I will do everything in my power to stop him, but he only listens to me on occasion. Just thought you should know. -Nichole

Well, sarcasm does get reputation, whether it's good or bad... it still gets it... Funny comments too. :)

Oh sorry about the confusion I may have caused... My point was the power of giving and taking away reputation should remain in the hands of moderators. God bless

Can we have like buttons for when people like our comments? Can we have a never ending chain of likes?
