'We live in violent times', just because it's been told to us, said on Fox news, preached to us. It isn't new. We have always been in violent times. People ask why are the boys angry, why are they goth and why are they so angry? They're rich and have everything thrown at them, right? Why are they so angry? It's because no one bothers to listen to them. They are judged and made to look stupid. Starting with mothers screaming at them while playing soccer ''KILL EM KILL EM!'' and when they don't win, they are shot down and seen as not good enough. Growing up in a society where there has to be a scapegoat for everything, no personal blame, or guilt. It's always someone else who takes the blame. We make people like OJ Simpson the American hero, course he isn't a killer! This close to putting his face on the three dollar bill. Yet, the angry boy who wears eyeliner is the bad person. We're so quick to judge someone with a darker outer image than we are someone with money. Of course the Football hero didn't kill someone, the goth boy deserved to be murdered, right? Yet the man who KILLED the boy is going to college, and is able to get an education. There is no responsibility anymore. Where are the parents? This is the downfall of the race.

This kind of reminded me of a case that started quite a few years ago and the initial suspects were referred to as the West Memphis Three, but because of the circumstances is still being investigated to this day. I don't know you Morgan, but if you didn't know about it I would guess by this post you made, you might be interested.

Basically three children were murdered down south in a town that was predominately southern baptist. The police force, the victims parents and basically the whole town pointed their fingers at three teenage boys who were the outsiders that weren't at church every sunday, and one of which who was goth (I don't know if the exact term was used, but he was into things that were dark by nature). Accusations were made, police investigations were incredibly sloppy for the simple fact that they had three accused boys that they were looking for evidence against. The crime scene was completely trampled and all evidence against the boys was circumstantial, two of the boys didn't even know each other, and yet all three were tried and convicted.

The entire case was crap, and sparked the interest of a ton of musicians in all types of genres, and the city had been forced back into re-investigating, and having to bite the bullet. These boys had been in prison for around a decade, and just recently the prosecutors were forced to release them, because there was nothing against them. Three victims of prejudice, wrongfully accused because of people's opinions and not of relevant facts.
