The heads of Arab League countries meeting in Egypt have agreed to create a joint Arab military force.

A 10-nation, Saudi-led coalition is currently carrying out air strikes against rebels in Yemen.

Analysts say it is unlikely all 22 members will join the proposed force.
Egyptian officials quoted by Associated Press said the force would comprise some 40,000 elite troops, supported by war planes, naval vessels and light armour.

Very interesting.....does not the little horn subdue 3 of the 10 horn confederacy unto himself in Revelation? No coincidence that it is exactly a 10 nation coalition.......something to ponder for sure!

Interesting indeed. Not sure we're quite there yet, but if they make war with Israel/God's people then we can know more. This phrase, ten horns, appears in Daniel 7, Revelation 12, 13, and a quite a bit in 17...

And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

I hadn't heard about BRICS bank coming online, that is fairly interesting!...

The prospect of an Arab league is interesting regardless of whatever implications prophecy may have.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was a strategic objective (and gamble) on the part of ISIS.

It's mostly a Saudi effort right now, but it's a good sign among Arab-Muslim nations that they fear the kind of radicalized "faith" being spewed by al-Baghdadi and ISIS followers. Maybe it will forestall the inevitable, but nonetheless, thus comes judgment.

the other 12 arab, nations , i would guess, will have mixed opinion, on force being used ie a house divided etc.
